Love the BlendJet 2. Very powerful, does a great job of blending, I take it everywhere with me. Easy to clean . Fits my shallow cupholder snuggly in my car. Use it to blend fresh fruit with milk for breakfast and smoothie drinks 24/7. Charge after 10 to 15 blending sessions. Put in liquid before put in fruit, to prevent blender from stopping mid-cycle, cut up hard fruits like apple into chunks . Put in chunks after pour in liquid. I bought mine over 2 months ago, still working like new and still very powerful. I recharge it once a day; everyday after I get home from work. Because I blend my smoothies 2 to 3 times a day. It's a minor inconvenience because the blender charges fast. The benefit and convenience of having a portable blender out ways the temporary inconvenience. I love how you can drink directly from the clear blender cup that is attached to the motor (colored portion) and don't have to transfer the drink/mix to another cup in order to drink the mix. Plus, you never have to share your cup/blender and it's self-cleaning.
I own both a ninja blender and a blendjet 2 and they're both different. the blendjet gets jammed a lot, it won't replace a ninja with a single serve attachment. The single serve ninja is waaaay more powerful and doesn't require 2-3 cycles to crush ice. I mainly use the blendjet for my protein shakes, and dairyfree oatmilk. Frappuccinos I still use my ninja. Both are useful depending what you want. Blendjet works best with frozen fruit.
Just to let you know, I have sold my BlendTec blender since doing this review (which I paid almost $400 for) and am now only using the BlendJet 2. @mrappbee Yes, I was provided a blender to review but the BlendJet stands for itself. I would gladly pay double the price for it and am happy to offer a way for people to save a few dollars off a price that is already very reasonable.
@@TechlifeCoach If I have known early before purchasing my BlendJet 2...I would have use your discount code, but I used the company discount code that was already offered.
Good review. I think I am going to get both the ninja iq and the blend jet for my apartment. I have ADHD and cords are like nails on a chalkboard for my brain because of the confinement of them. Ninja iq looks a little beefier but you got to love the versatility of the blend jet.
I agree about the versatility of the BlendJet. I use it multiple times a week. It is so easy that I actually use unlike my big counter blender I ended up selling.
Blending fruits every day? Beware of the high sugar content. I gained 30lbs on a juice fast (!) because I was using carrots as the base for my daily juices. Totally forgot that sugar is sugar whether from fruits, vegetables, or roots.
I have found that recording what you eat for a month or or two helps you know what foods have higher sugar content etc. If you track what you eat through a fitness app many foods, fruits and vegetables are already loaded into there and can be very helpful. In short, the best way to be careful when it comes with nutrition is to know what you are eating and be conscious.
@@krushibhakta6895 If your juice tastes “delicious”, there’s too much sugar in it! Pretty much all fruit juices have WAAAAAY too much sugar in them. Great video! I live in a small apartment and have a tiny kitchen. The BlendJet would save me so much space over my current Ninja Blender (and it's much quiter). At $49 it would make an excellent gift too! Does it come apart so you can wash in the dishwasher?
Great question! I’ll post a video of how to wash it on my Instagram @techlifecoach you won’t “need” to wash it in the dishwasher. Go check out my Instagram to see more :)
I've seen reviews where people say it doesn't last long. Any one here who's been using this for more than 3 months? I like it already so I'm really hopeful.🤞
Hey there! I’ve been using mine for several months now really regularly. I think the key to making it last longer is making sure that you don’t overload it on your blends. It took me a little bit to figure out the limits but it’s still going strong. Hope that helps!
Yes absolutely! I always cut mine into smaller size so they blend easier. It is great for carrot juice. Check out more details and examples at the link in the description :)
@@TechlifeCoach OMG, how can you fib to these people - raw carrots, even cut up will get stuck in the blade and stop it from running - it will be a process of shake, shake shake it to get that carrot blended and then you'll have lumps. Sorry Tech, but these people need to know the truth. I'm not trying to be mean or nasty - I've been there, done that - it's just not worth it. P.S. you can't even cut through beets with a sharp knife let alone a crappy BlendJet2. Just sayin'......lol
How can a hard carrot work for this little machine when I had an immersion blender and tried to chop up a carrot up with it and my carrots were cut but the hard carrot broke my immersion blender blade and it stopped working so how is this little blender stronger than a regular immersion blender to be able puree a hard carrot with no lumps

It really depends on the size of the ice cubes my friend. I would recommend leaving a little space at the top so the ice can move once the blade starts to turn. I also recommend blending your ice cubes first before adding any additional ingredients.
What color is the light? Did you make sure the arrows on the opposite side of the blender are lined up correctly? I don’t work for BlendJet so it might be a good idea to reach out to them for a warranty replacement if there is in fact an issue. @blendjet
You probably need to recharge before using. It comes deliver 50 % charge not fully charged. Blue and purple means it is 50% charge, red means battery is totally depleted, all blue means blender is 100 % recharged.
Great question! I believe it’s important to be honest and I honestly didn’t think about it. The fruit was rock hard frozen and I didn’t have any ice so it never crossed my mind. I can tell you though that I have used ice in it since the video and it does a fabulous job!
NO! Not meant to. There is no way this blend jet 2 could stand up to a Ninja. Show demo doing blending of carrots, broccoli. Both products are good but the blend jet 2 is made for smoothies.
In my case it absolutely replaced my Blendtec Blender. In the video I talk about my living situation and it does everything I need it to and doesn't take up the space and power of a bigger blender. You are right for some people but for others, the answer is an absolute YES it does replace blenders like a Ninja. As is the case with many questions, the 100% accurate answer is: "It depends" I am working on a demo video of Carrots, oats, almonds, ice, broccoli and all kinds of other things. My experience after several months with the Blendjet, is that it does much more than people give it credit for as long as it is done the right way.
Ok @oneshotudrop Here is the report. First of all. Thank you for that recipe! I will be using it often. Second, I tried both with water and milk. The first thing to note is that BlendJet recommends putting the liquid in first so I used 9 oz of liquid. Then the oats, peanut butter, protein powder and 1/2 banana in that order. Another tip BlendJet gives is to start the blender upside down if there is a lot of ingredients to mix. I started the blender upside down and then slowly turned it upright and it had no problems mixing the ingredients. When I used milk though it did struggle at first but I discovered that my battery was low because I use it regularly. I tried it again after charging the battery and it worked great for the recipe! I would suggest the start upside down method though because that lets the blade get up to full speed. Hopefully that helps and don’t forget you can save 10% with the code techlifecoach10 from the link in the description.
