Fonzi M - Melodies on Piano inserting glassy sky isn't really that hard. Pretty much all anime osts/ops/eds can be mashed up together and it would still sound good. They all use the same chords, with the only exceptions being the occasionally used major dominant and the 2-5-1 from 7. It's very simple
When I listen to this song and I remember kaneki’s trauma, and depression but did we once think what made the autor write this things , I still think he wanted to express his feelings trough Tokyo Ghoul , what if he was dealing with something tuff

@@tanusrichakraborty201 This actually makes sense. In sub and english version, the song said that he doesnt want to hurt someone which was prob Hide. Another thing is the lyric in the song that says "please dont find me/look at me" and "remember who I am" which means that Kaneki doesnt want Hide to see and find out that he is a ghoul and wants him to remember the old him (the normal and innocent Kaneki).

Man, i know what is to have depression, with all that happens sometimes we think about going on, but leave all you got, all you fighted to get, good friends that understand you, a life with nice things at least once in a week, and so much things. Try to make it like this: Think that you have to continue, be a strong knight in a world of hard challenges. Glory is achieved through pain, and even though it looks unbearable, most of the times it is made to be like torture, it generally don't kill you, but make a big suffering. I know i'm not professional, but i tried to help. I respect you and wish better times in the future :D

He tried desperately to protect his loved ones(anteiku) from the enemies(aogiri tree) but in the end failed to do so costing his life. I do not see how he is connected to this statement. Even if he turned evil, he still has kindness. Not like im darkness where evil exist only. Edit:also Lucifer is pure evil. There is no such thing like kindness in him. He only seek destruction.

I feel like Kaneki is telling this to the world.... but nobody’s listening. That’s why he has so many hallucinations of himself, so he has someone to talk to, which makes him feel even more helpless. (3:50 when he says don’t forget me but his hallucination is already shattering.)
These Japanese have got some deep ass lyrics. Like most anime music I hear when its translated is really deep. While in America rappers are rapping about drugs and bitches, pop music is usually just singing about a lost love interest, country guys are singing about trucks,
Dante One rapper that is really deep in their lyrics is Eminem. Aside from that, some alt pop and pop punk artists (Melanie Martinez, Fall Out Boy, Imagine Dragons etc) have some really deep shit in their music. Melanie sings about drug abuse, kidnapping and depression in her lyrics - FOB sings about suicide, mental issues (including anxiety and depression) and politics. Imagine Drags however sing about self-seeking and worth, accepting yourself for who you are and beating your inner demons. If you talk about generic pop played on the radio, however, then it is absolute horse shit. I agree with you whole heartedly, and that's the reason why I stopped listening to radio and put my own music on instead.

Ken doesn’t know, that’s the thing. Although it’s still amazingly poetic, since Hide was the only thing keeping Ken from committing suicide in the subtly-presented past of Ken before he experiences ghoulification.
Kaneki went so much pain. From being a normal human, he was forced to become a murderer, even worse a cannibal. He hesitates, he hungers himself and cuts all ties from others. All the people, friends, even family, he is forced to cut ties for their sakes. "Don't find me, But please remember me" seems like Kaneki, telling everyone he loves... That drawing if Kaneki when he first wakes up as a half-ghoul makes me cry like CRAZY everytime I see it... It just reminds me of how innocent and tired he was as his human self, with his half-shut human eye, and then his widely open ghoul eye that took over his body and brings him all the corruption his soul suffered from, especially when he was tortured by Jason. This drawing just means so much. EDIT : I have to add something : I've been singing this so much that my voice is now broken and I can't go as high as before 😭 I hope I'll be able to sing it 681740973 times a day again soon

Deku Well the Anime could have been one of the best ever but *of course* they screwed up like anything.. Not just the Story but even some character storylines which were shown in detail in the manga

Atric Channel Spoilers, obviously. I don’t think the ending he gets in the manga fits the themes of Tokyo Ghoul. Of course his last monologue as he fights Dragon is definitely beautifully crafted the ending felt too light for Tokyo Ghoul’s dark themes. People got the most emotion when Ken or another character was in a very dark situation or perhaps the many amazing scenes where we get to see Ken Kaneki’s psychology in his head. They were the best parts, but near the end too many characters were being saved when a death would have been perfect. For example, when Hina was fighting Suzuya and her monologue came in she should’ve died. Ken saving her does make for a nice little reunion between Suzuya and the ex-Haise, but that’s about it. Hina dying would’ve also heavily made sense to how dragon is born. Such goes the same for Ayato saving Ken after his tragic monologue, a save that we don’t even get to see. The ending was too happy in my opinion, call me edgy but it just didn’t fit too the dark theme of Tokyo Ghoul.

I've fallen asleep to this on repeat before. It feels amazing, and seeps into your dreams. Where Hide lives and Kaneki was never brutally tortured or joined Aogiri, where everyone is just happy at Anteiku. Why can't dreams be reality?
Back when i first started watching tokyo ghoul (as it was airing) i was kinda new to anime, and never liked openings. Then i heard this in the third episode because for once i was too lazy to skip it... At first i was like; hey that's pretty good... And so it begun. Ever since that day it's been my favorite song, and i listen to it about three times a day. I've listened to it in every form, shape and size and i love it just as much as then. There have been days where i haven't remembered to play it, but i'd say i've played about 1/3+ of all days since it's release. In conclusion, Unravel is a piece of art, and this piano cover is absolutely beautiful. Good job
If you like reading manga, (even if you don't) I recommend reading TG. Was first manga I properly read after so many recs. But, I guarantee you won't forget the character after reading. They even got a sequel tokyo ghoul:re

Anime needs to be rebooted thou and instead of being a shit adaptation that don’t link together(s2 transition to s3) it should follow the manga properly. This will make more people love as since the manga is better than the entire anime and at times more dark
MACRO GAMING sorta. By anime timings at the end of s2 Ken is supposed to have a fight that “kills” him. He’s stabbed through both his eyes sockets straight through the head. This cause him to go crazy through the entire fight since his regen is still keeping him alive. After he’s defeated he’s put in a ghoul prison with his eyes missing and under the influence of a drug that suppresses ghouls. Arima then tells him that all his friends are dead so he ends up losing it and gets amnesia(the “death” of ken kaneki). That’s how he becomes haisai by season 3

No matter what, I always have a year in my eye when I listen to this, and the translations just make it a whole lot of more engaging and appealing, this song is a masterpiece, even if a person who doesn't have any thing to do with anime listens to this, they would feel the pain coming from it, when TK sings this, the emotions flow out like a flood held up for too long, that is why this is a legend
Man this is the best anime I ever watched. None of the other ones really had an impact. It was the second one I watched so it almost ruined anime for. Not being able to find one that was as good as this. 😪
I am not here to criticize or preach. But In my opinion Tokyo Ghoul is indeed phenomenal and has an unique plot regards to the first and second seasons only. I was furious and disappointed when I started the third season, I couldn't finish it from respect to tokyo ghoul initial's season.

Spoilers, obviously.
I don’t think the ending he gets in the manga fits the themes of Tokyo Ghoul. Of course his last monologue as he fights Dragon is definitely beautifully crafted the ending felt too light for Tokyo Ghoul’s dark themes. People got the most emotion when Ken or another character was in a very dark situation or perhaps the many amazing scenes where we get to see Ken Kaneki’s psychology in his head. They were the best parts, but near the end too many characters were being saved when a death would have been perfect. For example, when Hina was fighting Suzuya and her monologue came in she should’ve died. Ken saving her does make for a nice little reunion between Suzuya and the ex-Haise, but that’s about it. Hina dying would’ve also heavily made sense to how dragon is born. Such goes the same for Ayato saving Ken after his tragic monologue, a save that we don’t even get to see. The ending was too happy in my opinion, call me edgy but it just didn’t fit too the dark theme of Tokyo Ghoul.

I've fallen asleep to this on repeat before. It feels amazing, and seeps into your dreams. Where Hide lives and Kaneki was never brutally tortured or joined Aogiri, where everyone is just happy at Anteiku.

Back when i first started watching tokyo ghoul (as it was airing) i was kinda new to anime, and never liked openings. Then i heard this in the third episode because for once i was too lazy to skip it... At first i was like; hey that's pretty good... And so it begun. Ever since that day it's been my favorite song, and i listen to it about three times a day. I've listened to it in every form, shape and size and i love it just as much as then. There have been days where i haven't remembered to play it, but i'd say i've played about 1/3+ of all days since it's release.
In conclusion, Unravel is a piece of art, and this piano cover is absolutely beautiful. Good job

MACRO GAMING sorta. By anime timings at the end of s2 Ken is supposed to have a fight that “kills” him. He’s stabbed through both his eyes sockets straight through the head. This cause him to go crazy through the entire fight since his regen is still keeping him alive. After he’s defeated he’s put in a ghoul prison with his eyes missing and under the influence of a drug that suppresses ghouls. Arima then tells him that all his friends are dead so he ends up losing it and gets amnesia(the “death” of ken kaneki). That’s how he becomes haisai by season 3

I am not here to criticize or preach. But In my opinion Tokyo Ghoul is indeed phenomenal and has an unique plot regards to the first and second seasons only.
I was furious and disappointed when I started the third season, I couldn't finish it from respect to tokyo ghoul initial's season.
