@@MarkSmith-dt1ct Aside from the point, I'm watching his movies on a super powerful portable computer over a world wide information network we call the internet. There's no way he couldve imagined such a way in which to watch his movies.
I guess Charles Chaplin was Mr Bean's grandfather, or great uncle. Their ages were too far apart for Chaplin to be Bean's dad or uncle though, Chaplin died of old age in the 1970s and Rowan Atkinson was still a young man then.
I held my breath from the moment he accidentally locked himself in the lions cage, and getting a close to death encounter with an adult tiger, to the lion waking up and I was wandering why couldn’t he push the door open instead of reaching for the outside and then when the lion woke up and saw Charlie I got nervous and as soon as the lion sniffed him and walked away again I busted out laughter both out of relief and out of entertainment. Point is Charlie Chaplin is my favourite comedian ever and I will never forget him. I will even pay tribute to him in any way possible down to his famous walk
Luis, I definitely can't stand seeing a caged lion if there's a person locked in that cage with him, in real life that is, it was amusing in this Chaplin film.
Charlie Chaplin taught us that action is sometimes louder than words. There are modern comedy films nowadays that uses words to deliver its funny jokes but I don't even feel it. Maybe there are still few of them that is actually considered a masterpiece, but most films these days are trash. Full of sexual things that influence the youth to be irresponsible.
Nick Vasilev the CGI shown here is bar none! So is The Wizard of Oz....so why do half the videos on RUclips and online today appear as if they were filmed with a 2005 Motorola Razor? Hmmmmm
How were they made. Impossible. In todays age it takes lot of animation to do this. Cant imagine a real horse chasing him and a real lion with him in the cage.
@@politicallyinaccuratetoast4757 Dude, no. They didn't even have this kind of cinema in the 1880s. This film is from 1928. Chaplin was born in 1889. So it's indeed "almost a century old".
Can't wait for season 2 of this anime.

Actually, weirdly enough Charlie Chaplin lived to watch star wars.
