to everyone who are hating on her, please remind that she is only 12 years old when performing this, she still have time to improve. i've also found this video on bilibili (china version of youtube) where her teacher comment on that video.
according to her teacher, she had a leg injury before filming this and suffering from pain while dancing the solos, she had cried many times before filming this because her leg make her feel painful, so that's why she was dancing without any emotions.
besides, her teacher also mentioned that she went on pointe quite late, cuz her teacher doesn't like to put students on pointe too early, so she was kinda worried and was suffering from pain. Her teacher said tsz ching wasn't satisfied with her performance
Awwww... that is so sad. She is so beautiful, and so cute, and has such incredible legs and extensions. I wish, at the tender age of 12, she was enjoying her performance more. And I agree, she is only 12! She has a lot more control and technique than most children her age.
OMG thanks for the info. She’s still stunning though ❤❤
I wish they didn't treat an art form like a competition. She is a beautiful young dancer and should proceed in her training without the tremendous stress of competition.
They are the one who chooses their future, they did join there without being forced
Those lines! Incredible performance at such a young age 😄

She relies on her arms for balance, instead of the customary holding of hands by the chin. The close-in footwork was quite good though. Pretty excellent for her age
She should do another variation that would feature her extensions and long legs more.
like which one?
@@gabrielag7324 grand pas classique (?
@@gabrielag7324maybe queen of dryads?
She dances beautifully. I'm 12 years old too, and I can't even imagine playing like her.
Lenka Gavrilović I’m 13 and I still have poor pointe works
@@tinyaulee8513 the good thing is you are both very young and you have the whole time in the world to perfect your performance :)
Thank you so much 🥰.
@@leeeennka333 yes, don't burden yourself with too many expectations-- allow yourself to grow. Think more about whole body development because if you push too much, you can face injuries that become chronic. People develop differently so give yourself grace and time.
12 and learning this varation...i'm not half as good as her 😅
She is a nice girl, very well trained, has wonderful long lines but is clearly totally miscasted as Cupido. The variation is supposed to be an "allegro" - a quick tempo - and to give her enough time to execute every single movement the tempo here it's awfully slowed down... a pain to watch (and even worse to hear!) She has got wonderful legs and arms and can do much better then this!
alberodona alberodona Totally agree!
I agree they slowed it down - but this is a common problem that I have seen even with professional ballerinas where the orchestra slows things wayyyy down to allow the dancer to fully execute the movement.
amazing extensions❤
Very good ! Very nice lines , legs , feet , and musicality ! For this age is super ! Brava 👏🏻! Congratulations 🍾🎉🎈🎊 !
So cute and excellent in this dance!

Tsz Ching Tai is a talented and technical young dancer! This variation looks wonderful on her.

Really good. Looked a bit tense, but she is only 11. Danced really well.
Remarkable skill and charm for such a young age. With experience and maturity, greater technical polish will come. Take care to watch for tension through the fingers. Good work!

A lot of potential but lacks control.
Are u kidding me? Her attitudes are soooo high and she looks as old as me - I can’t even do an attitude half the size!
Good job! Who the hell disliked this...
Maybe somebody with the right sense of the role and a good musical ear.
@@alberodonaalberodona5888 Sad but true. She is very very young to dance this part.
@@alberodonaalberodona5888 before judging, let's not forget that we are talking about a student here, a work in progress, not a professional
@@Yanaballerina that's exactly the point: as a student she has no responsability in miscasting herself. Her teacher is totally responsable. Her qualities - and she has obviously both qualities and talent - are not suited for the role of Cupido. And the role cannot - and should not - be danced at such a slow tempo. Her teacher must know that. I'm not judging the student, I'm judging the teacher. And the teacher is obviously a professional.
Amazing. Would love to see something more recent.

so nice but tempo so slow
Too slow to the music
Agreed
This dance doesn’t showcase her leg lines enough. Lilac fairy would be amazing for her ngl
ooo hey army :D
Wow!
that was a good grand jete
👏👏👏👏🙌🌺👏🌺🌺
The extensions are beautiful, but they don't fit the dance. She's a gorgeous dancer, and has beautiful legs and arms, but I just don't think she's right for this role.
