    I have both and I prefer the Marco cart because I was able to have it built with the draw lay out the way I wanted I have 4 small draws at the top and 4in draws the rest of the way for a total of 8 draws I also upgraded to all 4 swivel casters you can build that cart on the website the way you want it

    I have that Matco cart and I love it, very sturdy and had a ton of room, the bottom drawer is a good size for keeping tools that are in cases, the cart came with a power strip, very handy.

    I have had the non Revel version of the Matco cart for a few years. It started out traveling around the country in a trailer for racing support, then turned into a bulky item storage box. I want to get a cabinet for the bulk stuff and make it my roll cart, just because it rolls so well!

    The snap on box with the slide top box is the most popular box by far at our shop. The work surface with the little drawer for paper work under the work surface is absolutely amazing.

    • @grapeshot3462
      @grapeshot3462 Год назад

      It's a nice box, but not a good choice when you work at a shop where all the tool boxes are only an inch or two apart. No room to slide the top open.

  • @b0lbi

    Personly I love the lock and roll system and I wa t a physical lock besides friction on each individual drawer. I feel the detent system is cheap like a craftsman or husky box. I move across the shop regularly and have had some drawer dumps. I feel for about the same cost the Matco should have lifetime warranty like the snap on (2year on matco I believe) and a more innovative drawer retention. Personal preference.

    Here's additional info.
    Comparison: Snap On KRSC46/ Matco JSC770
    Offers: Lifetime Warranty/ 3-Year Warranty
    Cost : $2325/ $2603
    No. of Drawers Same 6
    Weight Capacity: 2400/ 1000
    Cu In 20,783/21,564
    Top Drawer Depth: Same 7 inches
    H x W x D 46 x 40 x 20/ 46.8 x 40.9 x2 2.6
    Conclusion. Snap On is $300 cheaper, sturdier in weight capacity, has a little less storage space. But you get a Lifetime Warranty with it.

    • @HimmelWeint

      Thing with that is with the Snap On you can easily double the weight capacity by adding another pair of slides. As for as weight capacity though you are more limited by the size than the actual weight itself on both these boxes.

    I just got my new KRSC326, while of course I can’t comment on durability, I can comment on the features I like. I really like the Lock N Roll system, not a huge fan of those detent slides. The drawer layout is nice too, gives me plenty of options on where to put tools. Huge fan of the lock system, I like being able to open the drawers if the top is closed. One of the things that is slightly concerning is that the deep bottom drawer that stores my blow molded cases and other heavy tools only has 1 set of slides. Really Snap On? For how much I paid for it an extra pair of slides on the bottom drawer would be appreciated. And a quick note to anyone who just bought one of these: be careful when you are checking to see what fits in the pry bar/screwdriver slots on the top. If you drop something in that pit, you will have a fun time getting it out. Ask me how I know 😂

    I bought the black on flat black snap on cart identical to the one in your video and love it. My only complaints are, the lock is kind of weak, the top being painted got scratched on day 1-is truck bed lined now, and only 2 swiveling wheels instead of all 4.

      Six of one, half dozen of the other. The deciding factor for me would be color choices. I like that MATCO color scheme on that cart more than the green.

      The Cornwell sliding top is even better, as it slides and articulates.

    Can someone who owns a matco cart tell me about the casters

      I'm a plant mechanic and often drag my cart over a mile per shift. (with over 250 lbs of tools)So casters are a big deal. Which box do you think rolls the easiest ans has the most durable casters.

      I owned a Matco cart for 10yrs until I upgraded. Was loaded to where 3 grown men couldn't lift it. Drug it across MULTIPLE shop floors, parking lots, you name it. NEVER had one issue w the casters (all 4 swivel and 2 locking btw).... only issue I ever had was drawer slides finally wore out and had to purchase new ..
      Hope this answers your question...

      What are you thoughts about the casters

    • @flatratemaster
      @flatratemaster  7 лет назад

      Nice I have only seen 1 Cornwell cart in person, so I can't say much about it.

    • @flatratemaster
      @flatratemaster  7 лет назад

      Both carts have very good casters on them, the only complaint is one out of the 2 Snap On Carts in the shop, I forget who's cart it is, has an issue with the casters locks, basically you almost have to stand on it to get it to lock

    • @maxwellpeter1598
      @maxwellpeter1598 7 лет назад +1

      Flatrate Master the casters have warranty on them
