For an old peice it's fuckin sick I love the balance idea he just could if executed it so much better he could of got opinions from other creators on what to do or spent even a half hour brainstorming and it would of increased the value of his peice so much
I like that new custom Hawkeye. The Ultron themed base on it will go great with the XM Classic Iron Man and the Sideshow Captain America PF. When are you expecting it to come in? I can’t wait to see your review on that one with possibly side by side comparisons with those pieces I just mentioned. 😉
It should ship in the next month or so I think. It turned out fantastic, great commissioner. He is also doing a Scarlet Witch & War Machine with the Ultron theme. There's also a Vision coming out if you check my pre-orders vid. 😊
Definitely agree that this is a average piece. Looks good, but I've always liked the Original SS Hawkeye, which has that true classic old school look to him. Glad I own that piece, cause that one is pretty hard to find. Great review.
When XM came into the picture, collectors went crazy and demand was so high for their pieces. Looking back, collectors were just tired of SS lack of QC and XM is a new company that almost guarantee that you would receive your statue in perfect condition and with superb paintjob. However, a lot of the early XM pieces are anatomically incorrect and with horrible portraits especially on women characters. To date, XM's Waterloo are still those those aspects.

Yes, SS's is nice for that classic look. I like modern takes on things too, just have to be well done.

If I had to take a random gamble today, I'd trust XM over Sideshow. But Sideshow has made some very nice pieces.
