Wow, that is amazing! It's got a great SciFi/Dr Who type look on it. Almost like a wormhole in the mind as one would imagine when travelling to a different dimension.
I think it's a great shirt. I keep my experiments and wear them exclusively. These are the shirts that I get the most comments on and, sometimes sell ...off my back..🤭🤭 It's beautiful and unique ! Love your tutorials!
Thank you! That is awesome! 🙂 I keep a lot of my experiments too, and I try to make the really off the wall ones in my size. For me, experimenting is what keeps tie dye fun!
I’m really liking this one the way it looks especially with those shirts side-by-side they could be dragon eyes and then the different coloured scales coming off on them really cool thanks Angie
I think the shirt looks great, it makes me think of getting a brown shirt and do a multiple geode with these colours. The colours are outstanding! Nice choice, you have a good eye!
I don't know if you're aware. But the tying technique you used with the sinew is called the dream catcher. If you'd kept your diagonal ties connected, with no space between the individual wraps, it would not have come out looking "wonky", as you put it. The dream catcher is a rather difficult design, however. It takes lots of practice to perfect. I tie dyed for about 5 years. And in that time, I may have accomplished the dream catcher only once. In any case, your choice of colors are beautiful. The mandala is certainly visible, but probably not to your liking. It's still a nice shirt. I would wear it. 😉👍
Thank you! I love dream catcher designs. This one isn't close to that though. I was just experimenting with this shirt - starting with the odd way I folded the mandala. I agree that dream catchers require precision.
Definitely my favorite. Too bad tie dye replication is never 100% exact, because this shirt is definitely giving me Doctor Strange: multiverse of madness vibes and I love that.
I think what you see as an imperfection, actually makes the shirt more palatable and creates depth and confusion for the eye. Some shirts are too perfect and ruin the intended free spirited nature of what a tie dye should be. Think of it like the difference in hardwood flooring between the distressed look and the perfect flawless look. I really love this shirt and will probably try this technique for the next shirt that I make.
It gives me better color saturation when the folds are thick. I have a blog post addressing this topic in greater detail. Here is a link if you'd like to read it: www.funendeavors.com/tie-dye-blog/d5rfxt22s927wtvz0412xhdfersyr7
Out White Brite doesn't damage the fabric the way that bleach can. It removes the color without weakening the fabric and it doesn't have to be neutralized.
Interesting! Looks like a dark forest full of moss and ferns.
That's a great description for it!

Yeah, I see that too. Definite Doctor Who intro vibes.

Thank you! That would look awesome to do a brown geode shirt.
I agree... not the best but not a failure... I think the color combo (plus the brown) is great for another project!
I agree - I think the colors look great with the brown accents!
Love it..looks like stained glass..your your worst critic lol..came out beautiful..thanks for sharing

Very interesting. I do love your choice of colors. I love experimenting with different folds and color combinations, too. Thanks for sharing, Angie:)

Kind of geode like. Weird. ✌🏻❤️
Thank you! 🙂
I think it's very pretty!! I'm not so much a fan of the lightest color, though, but the rest are AMAZING 😍
Thank you! 😊
LOVE THIS ONE❤
Thank you! 🙂
I like it, it came out cool
Thank you! 🙂
Interesting experiment. A bit muddy? Good tips, thanks.
Thank you! I think the brown lines and remnants of brown from the shirt are what make it seem like it is muddy.
Definitely my favorite. Too bad tie dye replication is never 100% exact, because this shirt is definitely giving me Doctor Strange: multiverse of madness vibes and I love that.
Thank you! It does give off Doctor Strange vibes.

Thank you - I'm glad you like it! I think it's interesting to look at too.
Apparently my local wal mart has this product now. Do you think an electric tea kettle would make the water hot enough? Just wondering, I have a few.
That's great! Yes, a tea kettle would be perfect for heating the water up.
@@FunEndeavors awesome, I’m on it.
@@SpaceCaptainCreations Have fun with it!
Why do you usually let your projects to dry after you tie them up?

Why do you like out white brite instead of bleach ?

@@FunEndeavors Thank youuuu
