This movie was AMAZING. It's a weird movie about embracing one's weirdness. So weird yet they manage to pull it off so well as a genuine and heartfelt story. 10/10 for me personally. Definitely wanna buy this one.
I wrote a blog post about the movie! (If you're still interested ^^) fruit4youandme.com/2019/01/29/swiss-army-man-the-movie-about-a-farting-corpse-that-has-a-deep-meaning/
Yeah I'm adding this to my collection. And I only add good movies to my collection. David lynch's Eraserhead, clockwork orange, logans run, American history x. Many more.
Mee tooo! First movie that I saw him in outside of HP was "What If" (2013). And no not the Marvel D+ series haha. This was just a well-rounded movie. It made me feel happy :)
one of my favourite movies i've ever watched, no other movie has touched me so deep, so powerful and emotional, i had to pause it mid way to take a brake
It is a very serious film, yet always comical at the same time. the messages scattered throughout are serious and important interpretations of the world we live in.
This film was amazing, it left you thinking if you thought deeper of it and had open ends for theories and overall fantastic, it just sucks that some people looked at it as nothing more and thought it was trash, but I'm buying it when it hits bluray
Watching this movie you have to go in with an open mind and really pay attention. It's actually a brilliant movie. It's filled with so many different emotions and pokes at reality and humanity in such creative ways. I really enjoyed it. Best movie I've seen so far. A creative, artistical masterpiece that I am glad I gave a chance and watched 😊
Oh my god I've finally come to the conclusion that this might be one of my favourite movies ever!!!! It has that Pulp Fiction (another favorite of mine) thing going on where I can say "This is either the most brilliant or most stupidest thing I've ever seen" Great job, Dans 👍👍👍👍
One of the most surreal yet touching movies I've ever seen. When Hank and Manny interact, it's like long lost twins meeting up for the first time and finding each other totally inseparable.
The cops said he might have been a jumper (committed suicide) and jumpers wash up on shore a lot. But I would've loved to learn his past before washing up.
+Kalebb Miles The one thing I REALLY want to know is what Hank whispered to Manny at the end. That part bothered me throughout the ending, because it could be some key piece of information: like, "There's someone out there that needs your help" or "Your real name is actually Harry Potter".
He was a man seeking a job in the business world but had no success. He was about to go bankrupt and could just barely afford to feed himself and live in an apartment. Seeing that his life was heading towards a downward spiral, he decides to jump off the bridge and let it all go.
This movie made me feel so many things. I had so many Questions.. Is he crazy? Is the Zombie guy crazy? Am I crazy because I like the movie? Is this real life? :)
My take on what the movie meant: We’re all so deeply conditioned to judge ourselves. And because we judge ourselves, we judge others as well. This makes for a viscous cycle of self-rejection. Never thinking we’re good enough. For example: Doing this is ok, but doing that isn’t. Saying this is ok, but saying that isn’t. There are all these fake rules that society instills into our head, and they’re all based off fear. The fear of not being loved or accepted by others. But the fear of not being loved or accepted by others is a metaphor for not accepting and loving yourself. We show what we judge as acceptable to others, but at the same time we hide parts of ourself that we think others would find ugly or unacceptable. Daniel Radcliffe’s character is so oblivious to this conditioning in the beginning. When he starts learning about life he LOVES it. He does things that are deemed not ok in society, and thinks they’re awesome. He finds beauty in simple things we take for granted, like looking out of a window, feeling the breeze of the wind on your face, etc. But as he learns more and more about life, he slowly realizes things he says/does aren’t acceptable to others. And many times he’s shamed for those things by Hank. That’s why when they’re in the tree at the end with the bear below Danielle says he’d rather be dead than alive. Bc in the end, he realizes life is sad bc everyone judges him and doesn’t like him due to this conditioning. Which ultimately makes him not love himself anymore. And makes life not as beautiful or fun to him anymore. Which is why he’d rather be dead. I think the last scene of him farting himself away in the ocean is a big metaphor for FUCK WHAT ANYONE THINKS. Fuck the hot girl on the bus, fuck the media, fuck your dad, fuck everyone. Be yourself. Love yourself. If you can do that, then no ones judgements matter, and you’ll never be ugly or not good enough. Love this movie man.
Coming from a *non-Harry Potter fan* like myself, this film along with *"Guns Akimbo"* and also *"Imperium"* are hands down some the most outrageous films that *Daniel Radcliffe* just prefectly nailed to a tee. *Instant 10/10.*
@@ishanegi117 for real, this movie literally is better than every other movie I could ask for. it's like it's got all the genre action (some very few) romance drama comedy LGBT all the genres a person can ever ask for I swear. and it's got tones a farting jokes, well more like just a lot of farting.
I'm sad this movie isn't as well known as I'd hope. This was an amazing film. At first I was like oh Harry Potter? Lemme c what this is about. But the whole crew all it was awesome. I left the theater just laughing the whole way home thinking about every part of it.
I watched this the day I watched the trailer and it was literally the best movie I have ever watched it had heart and comedy and lots of other things that made me love it i cried so many times I give it 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Barbie Shah sick and tired of people complains about him not moving away from the Harry Potter role be proud he is trying out new things he still holds Harry Potter with high regards unlike Emma Watson and others because he knows he wouldn't be here if it wasn't Harry Potter but he has moved on and I loved the Swiss Army knife because it shows how he has grown as a actor and how he is known for his movies instead of a one single character

Phamster It’s not only that, but being socially incompatible is okay. In fact, it’s what makes you special.

These guys need some awards like right now!!! What an amazing film!!!!
Amazing film. Saw it followed by a Q&A with the two writer directors. It's a brave film that takes chance, yet it is completely sincere.
