It's "save" not "safe". but otherwise, you are absolutely right. I lost way too many hours in front of a screen. Go to the beach, pool, forest, streets. Just get out of the house. Be bored, but do it outside.
In this summer, I turned off social media, I spent most of my days reading the books of Albert Camus, poetry, and science fiction books while listenning to those playlists, I have been happier lately , waking up early to run with bestie, preparing omelette, writing letters, doing maths problems, staying up all night to watch the sunrise, listenning to Here comes the Sun every sunset, preparing a hot chocolat milk everytime it rain out, laughing while drawing with my little brother, walking under the Moonlight, mediating .. This is the last summer before I turn 18 , the next septembre I would probably be in a new country, new city Somewhere in europe , studying for medical school or astrophysics , I still didn't make my mind yet, I hope I can get a good Gpa this year, the last years I was very lazy, I couldn't get good grades but not this time , this time I 'm only focusing on myself,living for myself, I hope I can make my self proud and mom happy once I gratuate from high school . I regret some things I wish I could did, like being so much serious and mysterious, sometimes I just wish I didn't delve deep into those nhilistic and absurdist ideas ... Trapped between the desire to be loved and the desire to be dettached . I miss the old me sometimes but I 'm so proud that I developped mentally and personely those two years Sometimes being alone doesn't really mean being lonely as they say, Some nights it sucks, espacially when u can't sleep and u keep watching the shadow on the wall for hours without doing nothing but this is life right ? Some days we are happy, others we are sad, some days we wanna skip from ourselves , others we find ourselves doing skincare while listenning to Liz the wizard, somedays we will feel like we can't get up from bed, and others we keep on waiting for a new day for a new start . I think that what make life a "life" I think at the end that life is just an idea in our own head And that we creat we.. Nothing last forever. Hope u find the reason ur hearts beat. Just know that whatever you're doing will be worth it. Some advices for you (writing at the age of 22).. It is okay to feel lonely sometimes, It is ok to share a smile. It is ok to have some fun, It is ok to have your peace. It is ok write your feelings, It is ok cry alone. Life is not endless, still very slow. What makes you happy, will make you grow.

for the first time i am me in my 18year old body experiencing summer. i was in my hometown for 6 weeks and even went on vacation at the beach for a week. i came back home and everything was so nice. i saw my family, my niece, my cat, my friends. i still spent time on my own. i walked around at night for hours. on my own always. i had a rough patch because the pain of my past sometimes still grips me, and the empty void of losing this person will never leave me. for the first time i am me in my 18year old body roaming my streets on warm summernights wondering how it would be if he was alive and at home, calling and asking when i’m coming. wondering how he would see me slowly becoming an adult. how i would see him if my memory of him wasn’t so blurry. something in me missing forever. is it this missing piece in my future or the thought that i‘ll never be 18 in any summer ever again. if i‘ll never sit with my friends in the same school again. if from now on, when i go trough this life of rules i still have my wonder and creativity with me. i don’t want to be stripped of what remains of the child me i want to be me in my first summer in my 19year old body being free and creative and full of hope. all my life i have never had much hope but sometimes when i am reminded to always have it, some things become a tiny bit easier. for the first time i am me in my 18year old body experiencing this summer like dream. like a tale, or a forgotten prophecy coming to terms that i will be older from this summer on and the first chapter of my life is truly coming to an end. i don’t ever want to forget this certain summer. i can’t wait for all my future summers which will bring new memories, perspectives and loves. i can’t wait to live from love for the first time i am me in my 18year old body, experiencing my first autumn. may we all be blessed and bless

Late summer. A time of year that often feels depressing for some. I personally find it to be one of the most beautiful. It's a period of transitoin for alot of young pepole. Just know, it'll be okay.
