I got to see the African Children's Choir in Georgia last year. They were even better than I expected. They have such personality. This is a great group.
WOW. Those kids can GROOVE!
That just made my whole ❤heart smile. That was so beautiful.
what a joy to see these children singing! how can people think one color of skin is better than another??? we all are creatures of our God and KING
Yea your are absolutely right. Everyone is equal. We are the ONEness
Wow, our choir is singing this and....we really dont have as much energy as them
And they did good!
you all should hear the original Shawahili version, your hearts will melt .... some how i cannot find it in youtube
I'm singing this at school. And it's really a fun song! But mine is in a different order and like more parts. But this is super duper extra ultra AWESOME
singing the longer version of this is chrous and its so much fun! for once an alto like me gets the fun stuff
Wir haben es auch im Gospelchor zum Üben bekommen, aber es ist länger; mehrere DIN A4 Seiten.
I teared to this pure energy
I woke up this morning, April 11 2023, hearing the word Imbeni in my Spirit. I remembered that years ago, I used to listen to a song with that lyric in it, but I could not remember more than a couple words from it, and did not know what Imbeni meant. Turns out it is the Swahili word meaning "SING", and after much searching I finally found the song by the group First Call. It's Called "O TSIFUNI MUNGO"!
I recently went on a trip to Greece with a local choir group. This was one of the songs they performed and it was universally the best liked, right along with the Greek National Anthem.
I'm going to be singing this song at my school in April:-)
I love seeing what the lyrics do to the sense of rhythm. First it's a zoo, then the lyrics start up and CLICK everyone falls into sync.
LINDO! Um abraço aqui do Brasil! Amo vcs!
one of my favorites from them
best version
Beautiful, I remember singing this my junior year, 1993, had so much fun.
I would love to hear the Drakensburg Boys Choir from South Africa perform this piece. This was cute.

This song has been burned into my mind by my school. They used to make us sing it like 3 times a year, and it’s become an inside joke with my class
