I got to see the African Children's Choir in Georgia last year. They were even better than I expected. They have such personality. This is a great group.

I woke up this morning, April 11 2023, hearing the word Imbeni in my Spirit. I remembered that years ago, I used to listen to a song with that lyric in it, but I could not remember more than a couple words from it, and did not know what Imbeni meant. Turns out it is the Swahili word meaning "SING", and after much searching I finally found the song by the group First Call. It's Called "O TSIFUNI MUNGO"!

I recently went on a trip to Greece with a local choir group. This was one of the songs they performed and it was universally the best liked, right along with the Greek National Anthem.

I love seeing what the lyrics do to the sense of rhythm. First it's a zoo, then the lyrics start up and CLICK everyone falls into sync.
