Maplestory will forever be my favourite computer video game. Great soundtracks across multiple areas, especially in Victoria Island. I first knew about the game from my siblings since young around the early 2010s. Excited to play the new server (MapleMS) of the game when it's released and looking forward to celebrate the game's 20th anniversary.
GMSR here and this bgm is being used for 18th year event. Thanks to this event i could be pushed up to level 255 and yesterday i finally defeated the Black Mage, which put a good end to my long term childhood memory cause i've always heared about his story and dreamed about i could be able to do that one day. Now i can well bury my childhood memory and say farewell to it. In that event the player has to take good care of those two babies until they reach their adult age. Feel exactly like Maplestory itself which watched over me growing up since i was about 8 years old when the first time i've seen my cousin playing that game. Thanks, for real, for being part of my life. Now i may go on to my next challenge.
I played back in its VERY early days... yet I came back in 2020 due to covid. I'd say that although the graphics are largely the same, if you can get past the idea that it's almost a completely different game, you should come back to give it a try :)
Shame they didn’t include “Nightmare” in… I always thought that BGM is under appreciated by even the old players. They could definitely fit it in this rendition somehow… they did that with “Bad Guys” at the end I almost couldn’t recognize it.
