My inspiration for taking my bass out the closet, dusting it off and reviving my love for wanting to play this instrument. Really enjoy Gouche bass playing on Sunday at FCBC. One of my favorite bass players... James Jamerson is why I love this instrument and started my interest.

I like the way he shows his slap technique is not the double thump but it still is sounds great. I like his slap technique. It’s the open hammer pluck. Like Victor Wooten said it’s the most versatile of the slap patterns.

Pre technology??? Huh... more like economy of motion. Get the most out of one motion. It’s a smarter way to play.
