    Hey Austin i've always wondered why they only use f-18 on air craft carriers and not f-22

    • @AviationAustin
      @AviationAustin  2 года назад

      The F-22 was desgned for the Air Force. Not designed for the use of the Navy or for the loads involved with carrier operations. And it's too expensive/ outdated to be modified now.

    You could also include U S Marine Corps aircraft, Some of their F-18 pilots are carrier qualified, and F-35Bs are operating off big deck amphibs. One Congress man is reported to ask "Why does the Navy's Army need its own Airforce?"

    It is kind of humorous that the U.S. NAVY (IE: A waterborne military force) has more aircraft than the U.S. Air Force, a primarily airborne military force...
    Makes me wonder how many boats the USAF has... LOL

    • @AviationAustin

      They don't have more than the USAF. Just more than everyone else except for them

      Well of course America has poverty as does any country with over 100M people, but I would say the median household in America has a vastly higher standard of living than the VAST majority of the world's population. As for the "very poor law" I don't know what you mean by that, by most countries do have terrible laws.
