Whenever Lindsey plays the violin I feel like I can always feel the story she's telling her music stirs deep emotions that Im not able to identify their origins I fight tears amidst the high spirit, she has unknowingly found and unlocked a dark corridor to my inner self I thought has long since closed
I think Lindsey was ousted in the quarter finals of America got talent in 2012? (jesus, so long ago?) They didn't believe she could make it alone. She proved them wrong and became an example of a star rising via youtube. She is very good at what she does, violin while dancing, so she has got a lot of fans today. I think "Crystallize" is her best solo project to date and also the first. It is just a really good track. But she is also the queen of collaborations (as any youtube creator knows is the best way to get known), so you will find her in projects with Lizzy Hale, Pentatonix, Peter Hollens (who is the king of collaborations and by extension youtube), and most recently Amy Lee. She also usually have very well done music videos because youtube is her main media. Recommendations; "Crystallize" (best solo) , "Shatter me" (best collab with Lizzy Hale) and "Love goes on and on" (most recent collab with Amy Lee).
She's done several "Heroic Fantasy" videos. The one that introduced me to her was "Roundtable Rival", which is a Wild West, Steampunk, Rock-and-roll battle!
Thank you for your reaction. I saw some videos of lindsey stirlings video and i was deeply impressed of her violin and dancing skills. It gives this ancient instrument the aura of a modern touch.
So this is off her Artemis album. She is Artemis, hence the crossbow violin, and the main villainess is Nix, Goddess of Night. You should check out her video for the title track, Artemis. Lindsey is amazing live. She dances all over the stage while playing. Her concerts are wonderful.
First, what an excellent reaction! I wish others had the imagination to use subtitles, that was so effective. And you nailed so many of the nuances that others seem to miss. Kudos! Welcome to the wonderful world of Lindsey' Stirling. Early in her career, she wrote, arranged and produced all her songs. She also choreographed, directed, scouted locations, made costumes, built sets and was pretty much a one-man band. As she's gotten bigger, so have her projects and she's started delegating some tasks simply because her career has become so complex. She's still probably the most hand's on artist out there and everything, literally everything, has her touch on it. She still does all of the editing of the videos and is tour director of all her tours. She's a master storyteller and her songs and videos all have meaning and nuance. She dances so well, even while playing the violin, that folks think she was a ballerina from birth. In actuality, she was a classically trained violinist, starting at age 6, who taught herself to dance beginning at age 23. She has since had some training, mostly during her appearance on Dancing with the Stars. She has so many talents that she defies belief.
For a quick bio, I suggest her Wiki page. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lindsey_Stirling This will give a quick overview of the artist and accomplishments. She's also one of the kindest, starting her own self-funded (originally) charity and doing benefit shows for almost anyone who asks. She's good people. For songs, since you started in the middle of her Artemis album, might I suggest you take the album playlist, start at the beginning and work your way through the album. It's a concept driven album and tells the story of Artemis, the Goddess of the Moon, the Hunt and Virtue. Start with Underground and go from there. You will not believe the creativity you'll experience. She supplemented the album with her first ever comic book. Several have BTS vids as well, allowing you to see the magic being made. Rumors abound that she'll make an Artemis movie. Once you finish that, you're on your own with the rest of the 140+ videos that Lindsey's produces. I actually envy you as I wish I could go back and see all her songs again for the first time. It's an epic journey. Once again, one of the best reactions that I've ever seen!👍👍👍👍👍👍
All of Lindsey's videos are big productions.I love how she interprets music and implements it visually. Her videos are acoustically as well as visually a pleasure!Well over 3 billion viewers are proof enough of her qualities and art.Great reaction, thank you.
I got the graphic novel of Artemis with all 6 editions of the comic book series for Mothers Day and it’s just gorgeous and the story is awesome. It’s the most beautiful one I’ve ever owned. And now I understand the story behind the music videos. ❤
I have been in her twitch community for some years already now,and shes as sweet, genuine, dorky, goofy, loving, talented and impressive as she looks. She has many years long ballet training, thats why she can tippety toe or spin around while playing the violin with ease, every stunt her dancers does, she is right there doing alongside with them on rehearsals. Every part of her body is really strong, not something you would see with a first glance at her, shes pretty small, petite and sweet looking. But in this video where she has the tribal skirt on,her legs is a dead giveaway, she is a full on athlete. Thats why the fight scenes looks soo impressive too,she just loves to be active and challenge herself. Every donation she gets from streaming, she always tells new arrivals into her community, that goes straight to charity. She doesnt stream to add to the income she gets from concert shows and album releases, she is simply there to connect with her followers, hang out and give them unique looks into her world,it might be just chatting with her rehearsing a song with her violin and talking to chat,or you get to meet her and all of her dancers from the videos, where they do rehearsals for shows together, and messes around. Her famous warrior dancers will constantly wave to the camera and say sweet hellos, there is soo much love in her community. Lindsey attracts the best people. My top 3 songs by Lindsey? 1. Artemis (its sort of the prequel to this song you reacted to lol) 2. Til The Light Goes Out 3. Crystallize. In Artemis and Til The Light Goes Out i call her Daenerys Targaryen because of her sweet face and platina blonde hair, she brings soo much Game Of Thrones vibe to me with these 2 videos. And yes, this might be the first song where she and her dancers sings together as much as they do. (Til The Light Goes Out ) Also, yes she has her own comic books based on all of her albums,Artemis and Til The Light Goes Out belongs to her third instalment of this original series of album art/comics she has.
Hi Sabina! Thanks for a great reaction to Lindsey Stirling's video. Lindsey is a huge talent. Most of her music is instrumental, but she does have songs that she has collaborated with vocal artists even though she herself has a beautiful voice. She's been playing the violin since the age of six, made it the Quarter Final's of America's Got Talent before being eliminated by Piers Morgan in 2010. She was playing and dancing and before getting kicked off he told her that some was great and "at times sounded like rats being strangled", so she worked hard at dancing while playing and has mastered it. She has been back to AGT three times as a guest performer. Lindsey is in total control of her compositions, music videos, and concerts. She IS the Boss lady. Lindsey was never a trained dancer until she joined Dancing With The Stars as a contestant in 2017 and finished the show in 2nd place with her pro partner Mark Ballas. She has 4 albums of original music & a Christmas album with a new one this October 7th. Lindsey is my favorite instrumental artist, and a genuinely nice person. I have seen her in concert twice. You should check out Electric Daisy Violin, shadows, and Roundtable Revival.
Hi Sabina, i like all your video. They are very pleasant to see and hear... You'd listen Tina Guo and Serj Tankian, it's fantastique song and vidéo...congrats for your videos. Bye from France 😉🤙
I think you have done Pentatonix in the past so you may like the collaboration Lindsey did with them called Radioactive (Imagine Dragons). Also one her best known is Shatter Me with Lizzy Hale singing.
Lindsey Stirling is awesome - I wish I could have ever played the violin half as well as she does, and she has all the dance as well - her live performances are stunning, with her playing and dancing simultaneously - anything by her is great! Of course, as a (poor, by any serious comparison) violinist myself I am biased! That she failed to win AGT was a travesty! Her dance moves (while she is playing) are absolutely amazing, and all her music videos tell a story. She invented the genre in which she excels and is unrivalled.
The violin was never one of my favourite instruments. And then Vanessa Mae came along with some ‘cool vibes’ and reworked classical works. This lady brings the same coolness together with the added vibe of dance/production. I’ve not come across her before. Thanks to this channel I’m now aware of this talent. Beautiful reaction Sabina..losing yourself in the vibe. Great posting.
There's a cool little Behind-the-Scenes for the making of the music video/film: ruclips.net/video/XcqSUTD0T5c/видео.html You can add editor to the list of her many talents. Lindsey's Artemis album was sort of a concept album, and so she put the story of the album in comic book form as well (I believe there are six issues). The music video was filmed at Bronson Caves, part of Griffith Park in Los Angeles, California.
Lindsey Sterling is awesome. I love her dubstep music. But the one that really stand out and breaks me is her cover on Boulevard of Broken Dreams by Green day. ruclips.net/video/mdkWFPrrZVQ/видео.html
Please react to the Song called SHADOWS and ICE STORM from Lindsey! Great!!! Also great: Lindsey Stirling - Shatter me / Master of Tides / Song of the caged Bird / First Light / Mirage
The amount of work that went into this is beyond description. Lindsey is one of a kind; she invented this genre. She's spectacular.

Lindsey came in 2nd with partner Mark Balas 2--3 years ago on Dancing with the Stars and her dancing really took off. She studied film at BYU
It's hard to pick a favorite song but this is one of my top favorites!!
Like your reaction) Good day)
Thank you for your reaction. I saw some videos of lindsey stirlings video and i was deeply impressed of her violin and dancing skills. It gives this ancient instrument the aura of a modern touch.
It does!! Same, she clearly has multiple talents!! 😍

I got to see her perform this particular album, Artemis, live a year ago at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver. It was absolutely phenomenal.

Have always loved Lindsey Stirling and have never seen this one. Thank you for sharing this one Sabina, it really was an amazing production.
All of Lindsey's videos are big productions.I love how she interprets music and implements it visually. Her videos are acoustically as well as visually a pleasure!Well over 3 billion viewers are proof enough of her qualities and art.Great reaction, thank you.

I think you have done Pentatonix in the past so you may like the collaboration Lindsey did with them called Radioactive (Imagine Dragons). Also one her best known is Shatter Me with Lizzy Hale singing.
