To learn more about the techniques and products used to make this beautiful card, head over to laviniastamps....
Hi everyone, Jo here again, so that means it is time to get the kettle on and spend some crafty time together.
Today I am going to use the acetate circle mask and some Elements ink pads to create a beautiful sunset sky. The Lavinia brushes are just perfect for this. I have chosen the Forest Scene stamp, a beautiful large stamp with lots of impact. Finally, I added some water droplets for the finishing touches.
This is one of those scenes where by changing the colour of the ink, you can create a totally different design suitable for so many different occasions.

I actually grasped in awe when you took that forest stamp off! All that stunning ink blending and to use just one stamp, one time, first generation! WOW ❤

It's gorgeous for a man's card. Do you ever ink around the outside edges of your base card with a color you have used in your composition, and then when you adhere your top card panel on, the colored edges will look like a layer of matt layering instead of just white?

Thanks so much for watching, for this particular design I left it quite plain and with white space but oh yes it would look fabulous with ink blended around the edges too….hugs Jo xx🧡

Hi Jo! Can I ask, what would you say would be the staple colours for your inks etc? Love your work!!!

Thanks so much for watching…I think in dye based inks a blue and green are probably my most used and in the permanent, Versafine inks black is my most used. Although orange is my favourite colour….hope that helps…Jo xx🧡

I can see you hold your mask down just working with one hand then. Would it be good to stick down with removable tape? I can imagine myself letting go, moving the position. BTW that a picture of my hubby, we share our RUclips account. Love your work 💚

Thanks so much for watching, and I’m so pleased that you enjoy the videos…yes you could tape the mask down…I do tend to just hold it..but low tack tape would work well hugs Jo xx🧡
