They are all great but I love Gigi and Sam here because they made it simpler and captured the emotion of the song. The Philippines have so many Divas with voices going through the roof that sometimes it's so refreshing to hear soft, mellow tones that capture the meaning and emotions of the song and this is how Sam and Gigi did their part in this collab. I can listen to them all day long.
Yes as much as I love belting & the runs, once in awhile it's nice to have a break & just listen to soft, simple, pure, sincere vocals. I really liked Sam & Gigi's parts here. I've been listening to Marielle Montellano & JM De La Cerna, they're voices are so soothing & emotional.

They all captured the emotions of the song in different ways. Somebody had to build the song at some point to give it a different dynamic. Not everything has to be a competition. They had different roles to play in the song.
@@Rosannasfriend I like it when singers re-arrange songs & give it their own twist. However, there are songs that sometimes that doesn't work, & it's just better to stay pretty close to the original. This is that type of song. A lot of reactors didn't seem to know the original song by Amy Grant, but Filipinos know this song by heart & many have other singers have performed this song. Filipinos grew up listening to this song since the late 1980s. Charice sang this beautifully at an NBC Christmas show accompanied by David Foster, not sure if you've seen that one. I am a fan of Katrina & love her runs & whistles, but not for this song. It was Bobby Velasco who arranged this song, & Im sure the singers had their input as well. I love all these singers' collabs, like Katrina & Budakhel, Kat & Jessica, Kat & Sam, Daryl & Gigi, Sam & Gigi, Kat & Sam, etc. It's only this song that I was a bit disappointed. I loved the beginning & the middle, but towards the end when Daryl & Kat were doing the runs & belts, that was too much. But it calmed down again & it was a lovely ending. A lot of fans have said the same thing in the comments. This is not being critical of the singers, bc they are all super talented. Just maybe next time, they could be more careful when making choices in the arrangement of the song. It's constructive criticism. Sometimes less is more. Btw I love Kat & Jessica's Air Supply medley. It wasn't over-the-top & the belts & runs were appropriate to the song.
@@HappyKat9 this is so true..We all know how good Katrina and Daryl are, especially Katrina who is a proven powerhouse but they just oversang a bit on the latter part of the song. But of course, they still created a great collab song overall. I agree with you that there are songs that are not meant to be re-arranged too much and to keep pretty close to the original. This is why I love Gigi Vibes because they know when to make a song their own and when to keep the original- I noticed this on their live streams like when they re-arranged some songs like "Fly Me to the Moon" but did not do it with others like "Dancing Queen". But anyway, they are all great singers and artists - Dary, Sam, Gigi and Katrina- one of the best singers of our time.
I wish Katrina could've keep it simplier like the other three but I guess she was really given the floor to go ballistic. Daryl and Sam's just doing it right and beautifully while Gigi just chilling out here just singing elegantly.
Pinoys really know how to make covers better than the original...

That was so awesome. Darryl Ong the man of all men's and with Sam it's so great collab but with the two beautiful ladies makes it fantastic song in over all performance. And with you Efra and Waleska with this song as a gift of Christmas and a year is about to end I'd like to thank you both that you gave the Filipino people the artist and singers of an appreciation of their talents and art to sing it has a great hope for them to make their selves strong for their own success.
