    I could tell the difference in weight and thickness as soon as I pulled it out of the box. Hope the front doesn't get bent up to easily.

    A stamps also have less holes/countersinks than a 40th which is probably contributing to your weight difference.

    Interesting comparison. I got my 40th and built it up. I wanted one back in the day, but never could afford one. I kinda wish I would have waited a bit longer and got the FanRC Graphite. For that one and with the technology superiority of regular carbon fiber vs what we had in the late 80’s or early 90’s it’s probably better than the original. It’s a little disappointing about the 40th though

    Made in China with chinesium aluminumn vs made in America made with Alcoa or Kaiser American 6061-t6

    when i watch i see the materials look and sound different mainly because the standards of the materials are not the same as the old materials it has to do with the money more then anything. sad but it is true.
