Great video buddy, being an ex-mechanic myself, you did very good explaining all steps clearly! Little trick, you take a sheet of paper, or a piece of cardbox, and roll it onto itself, and make yourself an emergency funnel! Even a cookware silicone thing can do the trick, and dosent take any space while on a big trip, nice to have in a tool kit! Have a beautiful day my friend!😎👌✌
The paper I had in the garage I used to print the 2 service manual pages 😂 I’ve used that trick before though. Works like a charm. I just grabbed what I had closest. The silicone cookware sheet is an interesting idea! I may throw one in my saddlebags for my ride to Sturgis just as a little addition to the tool kit.
Check the oil, yes. Changing the oil - Indian is easier. Harley is a pain in the butt by comparison because of having to take off that whole derby cover.
They are from Viking Saddlebags. The specific model is Raven Lamellar Leather Covered Saddlebags with shock cutout. I actually filmed part of a video doing a full review of them, and how much they can hold, yesterday afternoon! I’m hoping to have that video up this coming Friday or the Friday after, if you’re interested. Thanks for watching ✌🏻If you have any more questions about them feel free to ask me. Happy to help.
I completely disagree with the use of Loctite on the threads, why would you do that? I could understand using a thread sealer, which Loctite also makes or Permatex, but not a thread locker

Good vlog, checking the oil level on your HD looked easier then checking it on my Indian CV.

Where did you buy the saddle bags?
