It is pretty simple, I showed the instructions. You line up the docking pegs in the holes and push it forward. I will demonstrate in a future video though.
I am a senior on a pension and could never afford to build this. It's giving me great pleasure to watch you build this. Thank you for all these videos.
Looks great Jerry! I finished my shipment 30 too and am beyond excited to be done soon. It looks amazing and yours looks great on the stand. I am a bit scared to put my saucer on the battle bridge right now due to the weight and small size of those 4 plastic pieces. The saucer is huge and extremely heavy. I was curious what is your opinion on the strength of the latching? Does it seem strong/secure, or do you have any concerns? I was also curious to know if you have a plan for a different stand as the tripod is a bit huge and not practical. I chatted with Fanhome and they currently do not have any plans to offer the deluxe base to existing customers (only new ones). Thanks and only 1 more shipment to go!
Congratulations on almost finishing your model! I share your enthusiasm. Yes, I am not a fan of the docking pegs on the battle section. At least the dorsal hull attaches to the secondary hull with more solid metal pieces. The primary hull, in my opinion, is just way too heavy for four pieces with plastic wedges holding them up. I am hoping that at some point I can either get a deluxe stand off of eBay or direct from Fanhome. We'll see.
@@TrekFanNCC-1701 Same here! Do you feel like the plastic latches are holding it securely or any risk of the saucer falling/breaking off in your opinion?
@@pattersonmichael Well, the shear weight of the primary hull is certainly a concern. I would feel much better if there was a separate support for the saucer section. Similar to the way TOMY has a separate support for the saucer section. I would much prefer the plastic latches being made of metal instead.
Can you make a video of how to connect the saucer to the star drive? I'm really curious how it holds that much weight.

“Almost there….”
Whoops! Wrong franchise!!!!
JK! Looks like you’ll be able to film some sweet FX with it.👍
Absolutely! =-D

It is my pleasure my friend. Thank you very much for your support! I greatly appreciate it. =-)
Am still waiting on my next shipment They're apparently having issues getting shipments out
I'm sorry to hear that. I am experiencing something similar with AGORA with my Build the TITANIC.
Very nice to see it getting complete
It seemed like it took forever (Three plus years) especially with the whole EAGLEMOSS incident thrown in!
Looks beautiful, Jerry!
Thank you very much. I am very much looking forward to finishing her!

@@TrekFanNCC-1701 Agreed, my friend was thinking to 3d print a clear support for the saucer as an extra support. I think that is what I will do.
