- The Alphas and the ladies of Kappa Delta Sorority at the University of Memphis teamed up for their school’s Flip Flop Stroll off. The lovely AKA's at the put on this event and ended up recieving over 1,000 school supplies for an inner city Memphis elementary school while also promoting unity across the greek community and campus! Each of the chapters get to bond and expand our perspectives of one another. We are blessed to attend a University that is invested in unity and diversity across it's campus! It's a humbling experience to be able to represent those very ideals and have this much recognition. We hope everyone enjoys watching our rewarding experience!!! We believe that Alphas taught us well! Congrats to the AKA's for such a successful event and we can't wait to participate and watch it grow every year!

Ngl, stroll aside, this is the most diverse NPC sorority I've seen in... ever. Lmao, I spy a black girl, an asian girl & few possible latina? Kudos to this chapter of KD. My school's KDs look like carbon copies of each other.

I believe it would be disrespectful if they did a bad job or made fun of it. These ladies SLAYED this. There is indeed history behind it they may not understand, but at least they're appreciative and respectful of it. Greek unity is more important than division 🙌🏽

LOVE THIS!!! What a great way to show actual greek unity (not just within one's own council). Seems like lots of fun and a great way to meet new people and learn something different. And... I cant believe it took place in the south of all places. Sending much greek love! xo
Excellent routine you can tell the girls put their hearts into the show. Also, they did have some diversity.
Back in the early 90s I was invited by some gentleman to rush/join A Phi A, because they saw something in me that they liked.
Well, A Phi A is predominantly African American and I am white. I could not join, because I was not enrolled in college at that time.
I was still very honored that they put that much thought into considering me as a candidate.
Oh yeah, this was at UGA.

I was skeptical at first but this was great I love the unity they did a great job ❤️
While I was at GVSU in 1994, our chapter did a step routine with TKE in a competition and we won. It really helped to emphasize RACIAL UNITY on campus. So for all of you who don't understand or disapprove of this, remember it has a purpose...especially if your daughter is going to the same college in the fall.

Greetings from Kappa Alpha Psi Spr 02 I can appreciate the unity and the steps were on point. I also can appreciate a Greek crossover, but there once was a time when steps were seen as a tradition to that fraternity or sorority. I love my brothers and my sisters but there are some things that should be kept. The true meaning of a step will forever and always be a part of the black fraternity or sorority. Yo yo
