The TLDR of what is happening right now: Kenzaju did this calling game (aka a battle royal spread across multiple colonies in Japan) to do some apocalipse business. They need to join the calling game to find a way to stop it and for Fushiguro to save his sister. They also need to find Angel to open the Prison realm and free Gojo. Those 2 stayed behind so protect Tengen in case Kenjaku comes to take him with curse manipulation. Yuta went into a colony first to get a head start and get information cuz he is a bad ass. Yuji and Fuhiguro went to recruit Hakari (another 3rd year like Yuta who got expelled for some reason) Maki went to the Zenin clan to get cursed tools cuz since Fushiguro is the boss, they can take what they want XD After that she said she'll find panda and join the rest. The last chapter showed how Panda got free after him and principle Yaga were imprisoned. Apparently Yaga had a magic forest full of curse corpses with the souls of dead children XD And one of them was Kusakabe's nephew. In the past Yaga helped Husakabe's sister get closure with her dead son so Kusakabe freed him and Panda to repay them. Principle Gakuganji is ordered to kill Yaga and right before he dies, he reveals how the living puppets can be made (apparently Panda is the only one since he is the only one made of 3 souls). He also says this knowledge it's a curse and that's why he didn't revealed it to save his life. At this time we don't exactly now what this means. Foreshadowing perhaps? Hmmmmm
