Hey Tim, Would you consider doing a video on the ins & outs of Forum sales? I think it's a great medium for the watch community, but under utilized by novice sellers.
That's a very good price for this auto Speedy! Sorry to hear about Chrono24 and their new business practice. Seems like everyone is trying to get a little more than they should online these days. Good luck with your sale.
Good luck with the sale. The Chrono24 management are shameful, as you say. I always do a private sell with these sellers so no side pays commission. If Ebay asked for proof of every sale that is done outside the platform there would be chaos. By the way, reverse panda is the term I believe.
Can you make a video on how you determine in general your sailing price when you rotate your watches?Because I often see models for sale with a 100% mark up for the exact same watch as there was no official used price/value.
Complicated topic, because it is at the end a matter of experience, but i'll think that over. Maybe there is formular to determine those prices at least roughly.
@@CasebackWatches I think it would make a great video because around me I hear this problem often with friends who have bought a watch and at some point want to sell it but have no idea how much they should sell it for
Tim, How far away do you live from Glashutte? Maybe you can do a video from there showing us a tour of the town and the watch factories? You could include some history of the city and maybe interview a few of the workers. Maybe you can get inside some of factories, too? Would be great!
@@CasebackWatches Of course we'd all want to see you drinking beer and enjoying the company of the local frauleins.....all part of the research, you know.
You ha dmentioned a company (Revel - not sure if I got this right) which supplies/restores the tachymeter scales for speedies. Please coud you send a link for this? Godspeed to you on Panda sale. Cheers.
Little misunderstanding, Ronin. Revell is a manufacturer for model building. But watchmakers use their varnish to restore those scales. www.revell.de/en/products/colors-accessories/
These are strange. Various movements and jewel numbers by different years. They look great. Nice functions. Affordable. But the modified movements seem like a cop out
2:43 usually you don't want to prove this to eBay because if ebay can do prove to you that you sold an item which was listed on eBay outside of eBay then you're really screwed up Just mark its als "lost".

The Provincial Gentry good idea. I’d be interested in that.
The band is exceptional!!!

Wow, excellent band. I love gypsy jazz and you guys really pull off this genre.
Boy oh boy -,a sweet deal for some lucky son in EU!! Almost $1000 less than Chrono24. Great video!!
Good luck with your sale. Unfortunately, I am in the USA. Great closer!!!! Gotta love Django Jazz.
That's insane, how does giving out private information fit in with GDPR..? Anyway amazing price, I will certainly mention the watch to a few people.

Preventing scams but also so they arent exploited by that. You use their service. They want money...
Aloha Tim ! Are you planning to visit California with your band?, Where can I buy a CD with your music?
Too far away, unfortunately! The CD you find here: dukies.bandcamp.com/releases

I suspect that they want to see whether the buyers first contacted you via C24.

It would be a longer trip, but it's a good idea.

Your band has a RUclips channel?
I would like to see a complete presentation
The band has a channel, but unfortunately it's not used much. Lack of time.

Cool band Tim!
You are impudent sir...take that you peasant ! 😎
Very nice band :)
Until we as customers stop this madness it’s not going to end. Watch buyers are some of the least respected customers in the world.
What would they say if you said you just wanted to keep it. lol. How could you prove that to chrono24. Haha
just tell chrono24 you lost the watch.
THICK watch
