Nice vid! Just acquired a 3511.50 and I specifically wanted it with the Valjoux 7750 movement because it is so reliable and extremely accurate. On my timegrapher, it varies about 0-+1 sec/day with 0.0 beat error! Astounding performance! I’ve been collecting for over 30 years and this is a hands down awesome watch! Yeah the professional is very collectible but unless you’re planning to circle the moon in a space capsule, you’ll appreciate the sapphire crystal, automatic function, and date feature for every day use!
I agree, these people on their ‘high horse’ are indeed watch snobs. I’m looking for a reverse panda 🐼 and this piece is beautiful! You really have a nice watch. I had a Speedmaster with this exact bracelet. It was standard of a 90’s piece but certainly substandard for any watch in Omega’s price range. Great review man. Good camera work and like the voiceover style.
Avg. Joe Watch Reviews - Hope you get your panda soon. I want to get one in the collection at some point as well. Thank you so much for all the support!
Congratulations on the Speedy! A month ago I started my collection with a Seiko 5, then a Mercer, and on a lark a threw an offer and won a rather rare champagne dial Speedy Reduced! The watch addiction is real!! In any event, I also don't really care what the 'purists' say about what constitutes a proper Speedy. What matters is what joy a watch brings to you and how it becomes part of your personal story. These are the things that are eternal, not articles or RUclips comments. Wear in good health and congrats again!
There are soo many different Speedy options, really love that one bro. You have pushed out quite lot of content these day’s. Keep it up great review as usual 👍🏻👍🏻
Great video. Just a side note: More jewels don't mean that the movement is higher beat due to that. Usually, jewels are added to reduce friction. This chronograph has no "flyback" function. Flyback would mean that you can push the pusher at 4 o'clock while the chronograph is running. This will reset the chono hands. As soon as you release the pusher at 4 o'clock again, the chronograph will immediately start again.
Great review my friend. Love the steel bezel and the reverse panda dial on the piece! I really like your thought that the watches we wear during this time in history are going to be really special!
Excellent review. Totally agree about the small crown & the tension clasp. I love your reflection on the possible Japanese national Watch owner of the 90s and how it relates to us now. Nice job👍
Just watched episode 1 of the podcast you did with Adrian from Bark & Jack and this watch was on your wrist so had to come and check out the unboxing and the other videos you’ve done on it. What an awesome piece!
Just got mine today, waited 6 months to get mint piece with actual original box(grey not red) n papers, it's just most comfortable watch I've had! Rather wait n buy those with history, it ll only increase in value.
I love that watch, i think is bit more elegant than the moon watch more like the Rolex Daytona with the real heritage of racing and olimpic timeing, Omega 67 deserves the same honor as any other historic great watch.

Great review, really nicely done. I've been tempted by one of these of late but the reflective sapphire is a concern as I already have a couple in my collection that are more reflective than I'd like. Anyway well done and about to subscribe.
A lovey watch that I’m keen to pick up. Can I ask, how do you find the thickness? Does it slip under a cuff easily or is it a bit cumbersome. I’m also looking at the speedy reduced and that’s significantly thinner at around 12mm. Any thoughts?
@@BosworthMcG great watch and very different than the pro. This is a great option for dressing up 👍🏼 BTW I also owned the 3510, but sold it because it looked too much like the pro and made me feel like I bought that because I couldn’t afford the bigger brother. This 3511, felt like it’s own thing.
@@SoCalWatchReviews Thanks for replying! Yeah I agree with what you said. The 3511.50 is very much its “own thing”. So I’m guessing the thickness wasn’t an issue given you’re enjoying the watch so much. That’s great!!
Are you able to tell me where you got the faded black leather strap from, I’ve just purchased this piece and really like that strap colour. Thanks from 🇬🇧
I miss owning this watch. The next time I get one, I’ll put more of an emphasis on finding one in crisp condition like yours. Mine was a decent example for $1300 on crown and caliber, but I’ll be willing to pay more for a clean one down the line
Just got this one with box&papers for my birthday :D It literally had not even 1 little scratch and it was never polished. It was from the original owner who wore it a few times with alot of care.

beautiful! I just got my speed master racing yesterday :) agreed that it will have memories to share after covid... do you leave the chrono on all the time or just leave it at the 12? I like the sweep, but don't want to ruin the watch.
Duy Nguyen I’m just weird like that. It’s an amazing build watch, but I’m really weird with my things I take extra good care of them, especially when they cost over $1000!
That’s a great question and I don’t know the answer. Just from a quick google search I see they both use a Valjoux 7750 movement, however I’m not sure if Omega modified the movement. Either way you go, they’re solid watches 👍🏼
@@SoCalWatchReviews I did some checking on WatchBase. It seems this did not have the 1155 after all, which includes a day complication (the 1151 also had day and month). @@SoCalWatchReviews Quick question - is the dial a simple flat disk (aside from the registers and date window, of course), or are there faceted surfaces?
I think one of my favourite things about this watch is the placement of the text on the dial. A pet peeve of mine is looking at a Chrono with the seconds hand going through the text at 12. Also, many watches from the 90's look super dated. This one has a timeless aesthetic. I'm looking at finding one produced in 1992 and making it my birth year watch. Great video, it helped me better understand the dating of certain references of this watch model in my search for the 92'
