My mom bought one kislux and she loves it. It had been there for over 10 years when she went out with it.
I agree. You can never have too many bags and for me camera hard cases. I just picked up a 1960’s blue canvas Hasselblad branded bag at a friend’s estate sale. I always enjoy your talks and am still deciding how to load a few of my Rolleiflex 2.8a street photos for you to see.
Nice. Make a web gallery online and send the link?
I think my favorite bag is an L.L. Bean Bob Krist that I bought in 2001. Cost only US$65 dollars back then. It's a narrow, square bag that can hold two bodies with long lenses pointed down. In preparation for it wearing out someday I bought another unused one on eBay a few years ago for only $40. L.L Bean also used to offer a Bob Krist vest that I have - it's a featherweight nylon vest that I use on the rare occasion that I fly because it amounts to a free carry-on. I'm a little obsessed with storage/carry options, too.
I looked it up. Very cool.

Ha!
I love bags - but I prefer to have one for each outfit. When shooting with my Nikon F/F2 system I have a giant Quantaray bag that holds almost all of my Nikon kit and a smaller Nikon bag that will hold three or four lenses and a flash or meter when I go walkabout. With the camera on a strap, I can limit the gear over my shoulder to what I'm likely to need or use. Great video and explanation of your bag philosophy. Andy
Thanks. Yes, I have various bags for different cameras and their accessories.
I'm always on the hunt for the perfect camera bag. As of now, I have 10, which includes a hard Pelican case. Crazy part is, I have enough cameras to fill them and then some.
Hahaha, boy, can I identify with this comment!
You need a bag for each system, and we often photograph in different formats.
If you are a camera bag man Ken, do you have a classic British made canvas Billingham one? Not cheap man certainly. I probably stupidly passed one up in a charity store. Great condition and £50. A lot of money yes, but a new equivalent would be £400!! I didn’t need it is really my reason. My own canvas bag basically stores some of my equipment. If I go on a photo hike or project I have a small back pack which usually covers most situations. I will carry a tripod if needed in its bag. 👍📸
I have several Billinghams. One I found at a thrift store for $9. And three I bought at a garage sale for $30. Sweet bags, I love them for my Leicas.
Just googled kinesis. They still make bags.
I see that too! :-)
