I like how the majority of this poop isn’t even about Tod and Copper. It’s the tragic story arc of Amos Slade and Widow Tweed’s long-standing rivalry

That intro was amazing with Amos drunkenly stumbling out to try and shoot everything in sight followed by Widow Tweed dealing with the situation herself. It sets up what to expect from this amazing YTP.

I like how The Hunter has the aim of a drunkard while his Neighbor always finds a way to get his gun AND shoot him with it.
Amos certainly got what he deserved throughout this. I found it funny when the badger got hit in the head with the flower pot and when Widow Tweed found a baby Amos.

Fun fact: The actor who voices Amos also plays Grandpa Joe in 1970s Charlie and the chocolate factory movie
I recognized a few of Joe's lines, but wasn't sure if it was the same voice because Amos generally sounds crankier than Joe.
Jack Albertson was also a radio actor in his early career back in the 1930s and 40s appearing on the Phil Harris and Alice Faye show, and was a regular on the Milton Berle show in the late 1940s

Also, Amos Slade was Jack's very last role; he passed on the same year the movie came out. :-(
