In my opinion, with Danjin, Crownless > Dreamless > cost 3 summons. Crownless often requires canceling animations, and Dreamless is good if timed well to avoid hits. Cost 3 summons don't provide buffs and deal less damage, but they don't break combo chains, allowing focus on enemy movement -> if they can finish enemies within the tower's time limit, they're a reasonable choice.
