    Hey Jonne
    Tip for your ice bath fridge. Buy a Smartplug so you can time when the fridge should start up and shut off. Or you can remotly shut off the fridge if you forgot it.
    Keep it on and love watching you progress!

    That cold dip was what made me stop swimming in cold water. I did some when I studied in Finland for three months, but after 15 min of swimming I spent 45 minutes in the shower trying to warm up again. Not very time efficient

    • @brianfosterkinsale4403
      @brianfosterkinsale4403 Год назад +8

      Warming up in the shower after a cold exposure isn't supposed to be effective. The theory is that when the blood in your extremities (cold) mixes with the blood in your core (warm), your body temperature drops, this what allegedly happens when you take a warm shower after a cold exposure, warming up naturally is generally regarded as better and more efficient...

    I remember i started watching Jonne back when it only had about 60k subs. The thing that hooked me up was not only the content topic but the edits he uses to do. Straight to the point in such a laughable way, all the time - Now i can see, and proudly say, ive been watching your evolution not only phisically and "defiantly?" but also on the way you edit the videos and improve the content you post.
    Congratulations on your sponsor, im quite sure from here it will be only the beggining, and im quite interested on see how far you get on this new challenge. Thanks for all the content.
    Much love from Spain.

    hm maybe you could messure also heartrate during & after the cold workouts and compare them, if you really train your body (and not only your mind), the "stress reaction" should be different after some time? Love your videos! :)

    @simonburyan1669 Год назад +1

    2:25 you know, you can warm up with some exercise in order to get rid of afer drop, like horse-stance. horse-stance is good, because you can get warm quick as you need to. if you are a bit more warm, you can get warmer with doing squats. But I would not start with squats right after getting out of cold water, since you could damage your joins or ties. keep up the good work :-)

    also its 6degree today which is like warm af compared to 2 degree, which i can stay for 20min also, but the head... is like a effort that kills me

    I think it's a real shame that several youtubers I currently consume are promoting ag1. Everything that is said in the advertisement is given by ag1 and unfortunately not by the youtuber himself. There are several videos that state that the effect of it is not proven and in the end it is just an overpriced product that is marketed well. Reminds me of homeopathy. Does not work beyond the placebo. If you have deficiency symptoms, you should see a doctor and see what exactly you are missing.
    really disappointed by "The Unlazy Way"
    have a nice day
