The fact you are willing to publish a conversation that only someone who has the means would ever get to have is incredible. I feel so fortunate to be able to live through your passion for Space & humanity!
Edit: P.S. Nice clock back there! Haha

Steve: "This is a cool photo from the moon."
Charlie: "Yeah, I took that photo."
Steve: moves on to the next artifact.
Steve, I think this video is, itself, a treasure. Thanks!

Fantastic interview. Congratulations. I wish you could make a daily or weekly (or whenever you can) short video about each of the Items in your collection. That would be great.

Fantastic interview Steve - I bet you wish you had for posterity a recorded astronaut interview like this for each of your space flown artifacts!

This interview is a precious treasure. I'd like to see his reaction to visiting Mr. Jurvetson's office, reviewing things that must be very familiar and will allow him to take an exciting trip into the past. And I, like a child, listen to their stories with attention, enthusiasm, and admiration. Thanks for sharing this.

Apollo 16 was always my favorite one. The chemistry between them was awesome. And I like Charlie Duke's energy, he made those EVA's more fun to watch for me. It is so great to see that he still has that energy.
by the way, 06:00 the video that charlie duke is talking about is available on youtube. the video's name is "Charlie Duke on the moon" and published 17 years ago.

😂 ask about the photo he left on the moon that there is a pic of. Even tho temperature Varys by about 500 degrees 😮

What of it? The photo was in a plastic bag and oven proof plastic bags have been around longer than the Apollo landings have been in the history books. Plus the Apollo 16 EVA’s all happened in the lunar dawn period which lasts long enough that they lifted off before the max surface temperature had been reached.

Why didn’t the Russians continue with its lunar program for a human landing? Seems weird they just bailed after we landed 1st. I know they did some cool stuff with robotics but still.

      Why???
Russians didn't have Wernher von Braun, nor Saturn V, that's why!
