Firing up the Dual-Tone Lighthouse Fog Horn on East Brother Island

One of nine that still exist. Property of the Coast Guard, the East Brother Light House has been in continuous operation for 149 years. At the beginning, they fire up the pony engine that then starts the large D9 tractor engine that fills the pressure vessel with compressed air for the horn.
