      Out of context, yes, it's a bad advice but Werdum was dominating the stand-up, he was beating him up, dropped him and almost stopped him the previous round. Cain was looking gassed and unable to take much more punishment, the corner figured he could stay in guard, take less damage and try to ground and pound. One of the most talented at 115 , but Joanna remains the GOAT, she knew how to give a show a be a dominant champ. Rose did beat her but let’s compares legacy , that war between Weili and Joanna it’s the contrast of the Rose vs Carla fight

    • @thomaslindh4280
      @thomaslindh4280 Год назад +4

      I agree! It's weird because she was one of my favourite fighters, I cannot believe that one fight could change so much for me. But it was such a frustrating fight and the way she acted every time she evaded a half-assed attack from Esparza. Esparza is the most boring fighter on planet earth but she won that fight and I cannot understand how Rose could have such low fight-IQ in that fight. I mean, yeah listen to the corner, but you must understand in a five round fight that this is perhaps not the best tactic. And then she looked so surprised afterwards. Stupid!

      @@user-cn8pp9fz4b Rose had some great fights lets not kid ourselves. Her second fight with Joanna is an underrated technical scrap. Both her fights with Jessica Andrade were bangers as well. Her fight with Karolina was fun too. Only makes her performance in the rematch with Carla all the more baffling considering Rose has been a consistently entertaining fighter in the past with absolutely no indication she could put on all time snoozer. Me thinks after the Weili rematch, she was mentally done with the sport.
