Teen Girl Saves Boy From Luring Attempt in Pottstown

A teen girl is being hailed a hero after police say she jumped into action and helped a boy who was being followed by a woman who was trying to lure him to a Wawa in Pottstown. NBC10’s Karen Hua spoke with the teen and the boy.

Sammy, Sam, and Hannah, you are all incredible!
So many kids are taught about strangers, but still innocently believe whatever lies the adults tell to persuade them unfortunately. Dad, you did a great job parenting him. Sammy, you are so intelligent, wise, and handled that so well. Hannah, you have a great heart, willing to literally put yourself in between the two, protecting him without a second thought. Kept a clear head and knew immediately to grab a key and lock her out. I’m so thankful this ended without incident. Proud of you three, all the way around. 💗
