    Another question i have is should i just create my blog posts around low kd high volume focus keywords and interlink them all in creating my topical map or would this not work should i instead find the main sub topics of the niche and create my posts accordingly to this? If i were to use answer the public to find the main sub topics of my niche should i do keyword research for those sub topics to find low kd high volume keyword variations

      @@satishgaire I've got a basic question about linking blog posts. Let's say we have a main topic, like "Apples," and under that we have smaller topics, like "Green Apples," "Red Apples," and "Yellow Apples." When writing about these smaller topics, do all the posts have to link back to the main "Apples" topic? Or can they just link to each other? And how does this affect the main "Apples" topic?

    Nice breakdown, thanks for putting this out. How do you know how many sub-topic pages for each topic to get that topical authority status?

    • @satishgaire
      @satishgaire  Год назад +3

      It just depends, the more the better. I go usually 3-4 subtopic down and that has proven to be helpful!

    Hi. If my main kwd si laptop amd create 2 sub topics, like laptops gaming and laptops cheap, these two sub topics should be in the same level. I mean the laptop is a page, laptop gaming and laptop heap should be a category and for each category to have also other articles related? Can i link internally from an asrticol from laptop gaming to another article from vatefory laptop cheap? Thanks!

    Thank you for this Satish! Very thorough. I have one question though. I’ve been told that you’re supposed to try to rank for lower keyword difficulty keywords as a new site owner. So in the example of “Laptops”, would it be better to start with a long tail keyword that’s easier to rank for?

    • @satishgaire
      @satishgaire  10 месяцев назад +1

      What you are talking about is "Avalanche Method" ( Google it). It will work, however if setup the Topical Authority structure and start to work on low end keywords, not only will you rank for those smaller keywords, which will overtime build up and let SE to level you up, but also signal them that you are an authority in that topic. This will earn you snippet traffic as well.

    Hey, thanks. Is it okay to interlink subtopics? Or subtopics should only link up to the main topic?

    • @satishgaire

      You can interlink subtopics but makes sure all those subtopics have a link back to the MAIN Topic PAGE ( Money Page).

    Do we need to create pages for all or articles for some and link to pages? Am I getting right about building topical map, like first we need to find our niche or topic, then create categories under it and now do wee need to create sub categories or articles for connecting to the categories? Please help me to clear my doubts.

    • @satishgaire
      @satishgaire  Год назад +1

      Yes.
      You have main topic, then subtopics then subtopics need to somehow link back to the MAIN topic page that you are trying to rank.

    Either I am not paying attention or you are mixing apples and oranges. I thought the point of these subtopic pages was to link back to the main page not necessarily use the same keyword we are trying to rank the main page for. But your example with the site operator you are suggesting that what is important is for the subtopic page to use the keyword we want the main page to rank for. This is confusing.

    is the main goal to link back to each post or just the pages or both

    • @satishgaire
      @satishgaire  10 месяцев назад

      Both. Think of it like a TREE Branches. Main Topics link to sub topics, and those sub topics will also refer to main topics (main keywords) and those sub topics should also have sub-sub topic, which will link to the sub topic.

    • @Digitalcataloghub

    So what is the difference between silos and topical Authority ??

    • @satishgaire
      @satishgaire  10 месяцев назад +1

      They are very similar in few things. Silos are traditionally focused on STRUCTURE and Page Connections. However, with Topical Authority, we focus more on the Content quality, citation, and actual organization of content which will be a LONG TERM thing. Implement both.

    Nice video :) But can I just create a new category in WordPress? Use that category name in AskThePublic and post all articles under that new category? Then just keep posting long-tail keywords?

    • @satishgaire
      @satishgaire  Год назад +1

      Like, you want to make a category in WP and post each of those questions from "AskThePublic" as one post per question?
      I don't recommend it.
      Do this instead, Make a list of those 5-10 questions and answer them at the end of the article like "FAQ" Google has made it clear that, it prefers 1 article with all the information and sub information vs 50 Pages with 50 long-tail keywords.
      Does that answer your question?

      @@MattiasJonsson-op7dn Yes!
      I forgot to mention few things on this video.
      1. Citation
      Cite whatever you say on the article to another bigger better authority than you. Don't go overboard with it. Just 2-3 per article to show that your content is backed!
      2. Numerical Content
      Topical SEO performs really well if the content is a LIST.
      3. Table of contents
      Add Table of content after intro pragraph to get featured on snippets.
      I am planning on doing another video on Schematic SEO and i will include those things there.
      Good luck! lmk if you have other questions!
