Did y'all know we have *4 channels* now? This main one, plus: 🎮 Evan and Katelyn Gaming ruclips.net/user/evanandkatelyngaming (us playing games and chatting, enhanced by epic editing and a heavy dose of memes) 🎙️ Evan and Katelyn Podcast ruclips.net/user/evanandkatelynpodcast (chatting about life, RUclips stuff, and playing games you can play along with) 😹 Evan and Katelyn Too ruclips.net/user/evanandkatelyn2 (still figuring this one out 😂)
Found your channel a while ago and watched all fresh vids, now started from your first ones and daaaamn! You came a long way from where you started, how you edited back then, how talked behave and how you do it all now...great job guys! One thing that is not changed even a bit is your overwhelming cuteness ^_^
I’ve been following you guys for some time now and decided to watch all of your videos from the beginning during this quarantine. It’s insane how much your channel has changed! You guys inspire me to do my own projects 🙏🏼
Oh wow! What just happened? With hundreds of millions of channels on RUclips, this has to be at the top of the list both for content and charisma. My day just got better.
This is a message from the future... forget about the cabinets and cars...get huge cabinets from Lowe’s...put googly eyes on everything...buy lots of resin.... and then outgrow the entire home. 😂
This is one of if not the first video I watched from you guys. It's crazy to see how you guys have changed and grown and now you're moving! So awesome. My love for watching, enjoying and learning from your videos hasn't changed though. :D
Looking back on these tutorials, I think to myself about how easy it would be to follow if it had a sight impediment. Just listening had me so confident that I could do it, even without hearing you guys.
Nice video - As long as we can get our cars in the garage and a few car maintenance essentials, along with some lawn equipment, that's all I use my garage for!
Omh I can’t believe this was 5 years ago, you both are so cute, when we do our garage makeover I hope to incorporate some of this and the new design and organization
I always like to see creators grow over time and I like to get back to the first or one of the first videos to see the improvement😂😂 but I think both of you already did a great job back then the only thing that is completely different is the chaos vibes that make your latest Videos so funny! I love that you had the chance to get such a great community and to try out so many different things for us❤️❤️ you guys gave me so much inspiration for my life! I can’t thank you enough!! Have a nice day even if you will never read this comment 😂😂
First time watching your DIY’s and they are very creative, FUNNY but most of all accurate to the project’s I searched. Awesome approach, I have subscribed, Liked and personalized your site. Thank you both. Seatbelt safety is lite!! Lol
I thought about doing pegboards for my tools, but thought I would try French cleet shelves instead. Maybe doesn't look as clean as a pegboard system, but still works
The Beardless Man yeah for sure! We flip flopped between a few solutions but wanted to invest in something that would last forever, through moves and all and would be somewhat modular. We may build/3d print some custom mounts though!
Subscribed! With that said, pegboard panels are expensive, not to mention the cost of the hooks. Using a simple 4' x 8' sheet of OSB instead would have been a way better and cheaper option in my opinion: with some wood scraps and screws, you can attach ANY tool or stuff you want to the wall. Track rails on the other side are cheap, sturdy and versatile, plus you can bring them with you when you move. I use them as much as I can for storage. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos guys!
You guys are so much fun. I'm glad you are comfortable enough to be goofy (but not over the top) in front of the camera. I appreciate this video because I'm trying to reorganize my garage to support my shop, toy storage, food storage (pantry space in the house doesn't support a family of six), and two cars (September-May...I don't like scraping windows and brushing off snow in an Alaska winter). I've used pegboards for years, but I hate how things pull loose when I grab tools. Many of the clips I've found to clip the brackets in place don't seem to stay put for long. How have you worked around that? I'd like to point out that I found you through your Patreon support of Making It, Make Something, and at least one other channel or podcast. So, not only are you supporting the creators you enjoy, but you're advertising your brand---smart!
+Jason Bailey Thanks so much Jason! Really appreciate your comment 😁 We've had the same issues in the past but the little clip things actually seem to work well with the metal pegboard! It's been 6 months and they are still holding strong. I'm actually thinking of designing my own 3d printed pegboard accessories that will grip either with an expanding thread or magnets but it might be a bit til I get to that project And totally with you on supporting the community. I'd much rather our money go to the people that inspire us than a big company
I enjoy y'all's content and you did a great job upgrading your space! :) I added garage door insulation to my shop, it really helps with the lighting and makes it way more comfortable! The sun sets on the front on the house and I used to bake in there!
I’ve been binging all your videos but started with the latest ones, so remembered when you were removing the cabinets and complained about how the cabinets were “painted to the wall” then remembered it was you guys who painted them 😅
I must have been living under a rock or something because I have never heard of metal peg boards. And the sliding track is new to me too. Looks like I have some shopping to do.
HA I saw that stud finder 😁 nice one Katelyn! Also wow that's very well done, that's gotta be the most efficient use of space I've seen in a garage yet
😏 thanks! Haha yeah, it worked great for us for a long time! We've since bought a bunch more big equipment so we're planning another MUCH needed reorganization this summer
Man, where do you find such a perfect wife? ;) BTW. just like the guy below I'm going straight from the start. Love your projects. You are an amazing couple and you have so much positive energy between yourselves. This makes the videos so much more fun to watch. Love it!
Helpful and Entertaining should be just one word. Henterfulning? Enterful? Helpentfultaining? Helpertaining! Well anyways it was both, that and there is an oddly satisfying thing to see things get organized. Before and after shots are just instant interest points.
Hi Evan and Katelyn!! So it is finally my turn to organize my garage. I'm doing a combo between what you did in this video and the DIY Garage storage video by Modern Builds. I love the idea of the metal peg boards but some of the reviews warn against the fact that the regular peg board hooks don't work so well because the metal is much thinner than the regular wood peg board. DO you have any suggestions ? What kind of hooks did you use and did you have to rig them ?

Yay! But did y'all know we still haven't seen a house tour..?
Watching this in 2019.
"Can we fit both of our cars?"
Hahaha. Hahahahahahaha. 😂
Hahahaaaaaa
Hahaha I was thinking the same thing 😂😂😂
I’m double crying because they responded XD OMG
Imagine Evan and Katelyn having cars in their garage.
What a mirror universe.
I like that you both put on your seatbelt even for going into your garage. Safety is important!!
Haha! You never know what dangers lurk in your own driveway
" We'll be able to fit both our cars, the dream!!!"
Watching this years later: Oh dear if only you knew.
🤣
even with their new bigger garage a car won't fit lol
4:47 evan moved to the passenger for that shot, smoothly done my friend
Haha you have an eye for detail 😉😁

Aww haha thank you! There's been a lot of change looking back over the past two years since we started
"Wait a second, we painted these cabinets!!"
"Noooooooooooooo"
I know, right?!?!
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Two years later
Garage: What cars?
😂😭
I love how they're so perfect together
+larry Big d'aww thanks 😄❤😄
I’ve been following you guys for some time now and decided to watch all of your videos from the beginning during this quarantine. It’s insane how much your channel has changed! You guys inspire me to do my own projects 🙏🏼

This is my first time watching this, and Katelyn with that stud finder had me so laughing! 😂😂
Hehe thank you for laughing at our bad jokes
The stud-finder joke at 1:00 is fantastic.
This is one of if not the first video I watched from you guys. It's crazy to see how you guys have changed and grown and now you're moving! So awesome. My love for watching, enjoying and learning from your videos hasn't changed though. :D
This is seriously awesome, great job!
Thank you so much! Already wanting to tackle it again since we've gained so many new tools!
Great harmony between you guys, that's why you have great results. God keeps blessing you both.
Thank you so much!
I love your positive spirit and lightheartedness.
Aw thank you!
I love the little visual. It was fun and really gave a perspective on how it all fit together.
Thank you!
Omh I can’t believe this was 5 years ago, you both are so cute, when we do our garage makeover I hope to incorporate some of this and the new design and organization
I have been looking for a good garage DIY layout, and this is the goods!
Wow!!! Never thought that a little bit of storage and paint could go so far and look so good.
+JM3 Gaming thank you! It really made a huuuge difference!
you guys are totally couple goal!
Aww thanks Roxanne :D we do have a lot of fun together
ugh... dont make me throw up.
You two are so happy!
This was helpful AND entertaining!
Yay, that was our exact goal :D thanks for the view!
I would LOVE to see how you made the rolling rack and the movable table!
Ah unfortunately we made those before we started the channel! But maybe we'll make new versions someday
Having fun while work is good.I found this video useful and entertaining as well.
+VIDEO EPPO useful AND entertaining?? You just made our day 😁😁 Thanks!
helpful and entertaining
+Muaz Osman helpful and entertaining!?! Thank you!!
You guys gave me a big smile in this early morning! Lots of entertainment AND motivation before I roll up my sleeves and organise my garage!
+DicedPotato good luck with your garage! Happy we were able to help you get started on it! So satisfying to tackle 👍👍
Love your videos , down to earth. Helpful and entertaining. You two remind me of my Honey and me, he is my sunshine.
Thank you!
Just what I was looking for (and I ditched a few) ... realistic advice, great music, very entertaining...useful to the max!
Thank you! Glad we could help out (and thanks for not ditching us!)
This is so impressive! The both of you are like the Marie Kondo of DIY organization haha
Haha thanks! If you see our later more recent garage organization video you'll see that we needed a round two haha
I always like to see creators grow over time and I like to get back to the first or one of the first videos to see the improvement😂😂 but I think both of you already did a great job back then the only thing that is completely different is the chaos vibes that make your latest Videos so funny!

You guys are so funny and goofy! I love it! It brings an uplift to my day and a smile to my face.
Thank you so much! 😁😁
This was awesome! You two seem to have very similar needs as my wife and I. Definitely going to use some of this!
I think the the french cleats are neater than the pegboards.
everything about this video is so satisfying.
+Pandaru 1 organization is the most satisfying thing haha 😁😁
Subscribed! With that said, pegboard panels are expensive, not to mention the cost of the hooks. Using a simple 4' x 8' sheet of OSB instead would have been a way better and cheaper option in my opinion: with some wood scraps and screws, you can attach ANY tool or stuff you want to the wall.

Helpful AND entertaining. You guys are adorable! Keep it up!
+David Olsen haha wooo! Thank you!
Excellent video, So nice to see a happy couple that are so right for each other:) Next project should be to epoxy your floors..
+Deighton S aww thank you! We actually did think about doing that next but didn't want to move all of our stuff out of the garage
Your very welcome, We got an estimate for the lifetime epoxy flooring, Going to have it done in a few weeks.. All the best to you both:)
+Deighton S woo that's great! Thank you 😊😊
Nice, the 2 of you would probably break into tears if you saw my garage. I've been slowly working away to clean up 10 years of clutter.
+Al Cyr hahaha. Tears followed by an uncontrollable desire to organize

+Evangelina Villela thank you! Glad we were able to share some ideas 😊😊

Wow looks great! Thanks for sharing!
+Jimmy Flex thank you! 😁😁
And that was the last time the cars ever entered the garage. Lol!
HA I saw that stud finder 😁 nice one Katelyn! Also wow that's very well done, that's gotta be the most efficient use of space I've seen in a garage yet

One can never be too safe...

Great improvement! 👍👍 Nicely organized E&K! 👊👊
+Fred McIntyre thanks! Still Loving the organization methods we added, and we've added even more since then!
Those metal pegboard panels look sharp
+JoshL don't know if you mean sharp as in pointy or sharp as in they look good, but they are both! (Jk, not toooo pointy)
EvanAndKatelyn sharp as in they look good.
+JoshL thank ya!
So cute! Been kinda binging on your guy's vids 😇 I'm so excited to have my own work shop eventually

Great video ya'll
Thanks Tony!
So much room for activities!
Haha unfortunately we filled it up over the past two years but our next video is anothee reorganization!
We haven't really had any issues! We have some special Wall Control hooks and some old hooks we used
nice solutions
I love your videos!
What do you call the wood boards behind the wall control pegboards ( The three boards) and where did you get them?
You can get them at any big box home store, it's just primed 1x4 pieces 👍
Great video. Thanks. What, if anything, did you do to the garage floor?
+MA Giobbe Thanks! We thought about doing epoxy but ended up deciding to leave it as is
Great video!
Thank you!
U should do a garage door install
Veramente molto molto bravi.... bravissimi!
+Andrea Mengoli grazie! Glad you like the video!
Curious, what are the dimensions of your garage? Recently moved and ours is 20 x 20 so might be a little bit of a smaller area to work with. But maybe not?
Spacious garage! What were your measurements that you had to redesign for storage and two vehicles. It look awesome.
+Beautiful Blue I don't know the exact dimensions but it's a 2 car garage with an extra stepped up area that is a few feet deep and runs the length of the garage. Thank you!
