    Hi there, me again. Great review! V22 seems pretty good to me - only with one problem - the weight. It's 4 grams heavier than D80 which could be a deal breaker to me. I'm trying to control the total weight to be less than 185 grams (My FZD ALC with H3 39dg BS and D80 is just a little below 185g). With this on my BH, the weight goes to 189g - a bit too heavy for me - makes the flick harder.

    • @DarioGrd
      @DarioGrd  11 месяцев назад +3

      Hi. Yes, I completely agree with you. My racket is now 195 grams and that causes me the most problems in the FH-BH transition. Much more often I am late and hit the ball with the edge.

    • @billyao6440

      @@DarioGrd Totally agree. I flick a lot on serves. That 4-gram diff is very noticeable. I will give it a go to see if it's better than D80. Especially the weight performance tradeoff.

    Very good reviews! I am subscribing even if I am Spanish. Thank you for the English subtitles! One question, do you know if the rest of the Dignics series (mainly 05 and 08) are now less durable than a few years ago as you said of Dignics 09C? How durable is this V22 compared to a Tenergy 05 or a Dignics 05? Thank you!

    • @DarioGrd
      @DarioGrd  10 месяцев назад +2

      Thank you. I'm glad you like it.
      I only noticed it with the D09c, there are no problems with the D80. Also D80 and D05 last longer than the Tenergy series. So far, V>22 seems great to me, except for what I mentioned in the video, that the topsheet cracked a little in 2 places along the edge. The sponge is still in good condition and the topsheet has no signs of oxidation. But for now, I've been using it for 3 and a half months, and that's only on BH, where normally my rubbers wear less than on FH.

    Great video!
    I would like to have the following questions regarding the rubber.
    - You have mentioned it does not have maximum spin. How is the speed and spin compared to the Dignics09C?
    - Have you experienced slippage with this rubber when topspinning with shallow or any other angles?
    - How is the durability?

    • @DarioGrd
      @DarioGrd  5 месяцев назад

      I always rate the rubbers I review in the same segments, and these ratings can easily be compared. If there is a problem with stopping the video and you want to view the entire table in peace, I always put a link to the entire table in the video description, so here is the table for V22 (drive.google.com/file/d/1YQYUj_13tQMbNGt4NbRFfksYal_ETEbj/view?usp=drive_link) and D09c (drive.google.com/file/d/1h_rC1Xh7MQCfHZQh8yALGsHsJ_g-bDon/view?usp=drive_link)
      I didn't experience any slippage. As for durability, I'd say it's average. The only thing I noticed is that after a certain time the topsheet starts to crack at the edges. This has happened to me with both rubbers I've had so far, but it doesn't really affect the performance.

    • @phenthohn7303
      @phenthohn7303 5 месяцев назад

      @@DarioGrd Thanks for the tables! One more question, how much of a "kick" have you experienced from the table when topspinning?

      I would say that both rubbers have very similar throw angle and trajectory, medium. If it was too low for you with the V22, then it will probably be the same with the D80. So maybe it's better to try D05, which has a higher throw angle.

      Yes I tried D05. You can check out my previous video from a couple of weeks ago, the D80 review, where I compare the D80 to the D05.
      I prefer the Victas V > 22 for my style of play. The D05 has more end spin, but with the V > 22 it's easier to create spin. Also V > 22 is better for me in the block and has a lower throw angle.

      @@DarioGrdI'll check it out, thanks. I'm using the Fastarc G1 on my bh and I'm struggling a bit with generating spin, especially when trying to lift undersping balls. It's definitely a technique but mainly mental block issue on my part, but it would be nice to get another rubber that makes it easier to lift balls so I can slowly develop a more attacking mindset from my bh side. It's something I've been struggling with for far too long and it's a weakness that opponents often take advantage of in matches.

    • @DarioGrd
      @DarioGrd  11 месяцев назад +1

      @@Unpiloted0922 It depends on your technique, it is possible that it will be easier for you to create spin with the V22, but again there is a possibility that you will need something even softer to create spin even easier. But on the other hand, you have to be careful, for example, too soft rubbers don't suit me, with them you are limited in terms of the amount of spin.

      @@DarioGrd makes sense. I normally use K3 on the fh. For today's training session I decided to switch the racket around to see how it would play. Generating spin and lifting backspin on the bh with the K3 is definitely easier (which would make sense given it's a hybrid) and the G1 worked surpisingly well on the FH side. I'll stick to this combo for a few days and see how it goes.
