The Ancient Egyptian word kmt (written as "Kemet", "Kemit", "Khemit", "Kamit", or "Khamit" today) translates to "black", "land of the blacks", or "the black land". The word kem also means "black" in ancient Egyptian.
No such language as Egyptian. The word Egypt itself is a Greek word. The word it self came from the words "Ha-Ku-Ptah" meaning "land of the temple of Ptah." Later, the Romans Latinized it into the word "Ageeuptis" which later became "Egypt." The language of Kemet was called the "Medu -Neter" or the "language of God "
