It is never easy losing one of your fur babies. They are not on this earth long enough! I only have 4 Maltese Terriers left and I dread the day...Just got to be sure I love them and look after them while they are here, like they do me. I'm sorry to hear about Viggo, but not surprised. He was at that age. The hardest thing about dogs is that their life is so damn short and your relationship is at it closests right at the end. And then you usually have to be the one to decide that their life has to end, which is just horrible. You were the world to him and gave him so much happiness. The pain will slowly turn into warm memories of all the moments you shared. We will all miss the little fellow.

I would bet that most of your viewers have experienced such times in their lives. Vigo was such a great dog and he will be missed, but it was his time to move on. He will always be in your memories! I had to do the same with my little dog and it was something unavoidable, but it hurt like hell. I keep a freehand drawing of her on my bedroom wall and every morning I say hi to her and I know she will be somewhere with my youngest son, as she often was when they were both alive, protecting him and having fun with him. Alfie and Vigo will also be together, getting into mischief, as they did in life! Regarding the apartment, we have a saying "What is meant for you will not go past you!"
