OK, yes he was loyal at the end. But obviously he was not getting her the care she needed. When people have a lot of accidents like that, they start wearing adult undergarments so even if there is an accident they don't get humiliated in public. He had enough money to hire 24/7 caretakers who specialize in dementia patients and are strong enough to restrain them physically if necessary. How did the wife have access to a phone that had contacts of people like her sister on it when he KNEW the sister had evil intentions. It is inordinately difficult to care for dementia patients but it is a mistake to keep acting like one day they will be healed, that's not the way this works. You have to care for them as they are--which is constantly evolving. And the stuff with the sister was very lax. When you have people in orbit around dementia patients you must be incredibly vigilant to ensure they are trustworthy since dementia patients are easily abused, coerced, and manipulated.
It's a very heartbreaking story and even if she remembered at the end, it still doesn't lessen all the struggles and hardships they went through. He's such a loyal husband, staying with her and keeping her by his side even if his heart got broken over and over by seeing his beloved in such a state. He never gave up on her and I hope she won't forget again and can live a happy life with him from now on. I wonder if the doctors manage to find a cure that slowly made her improved until one day she remembered, it wouldn't surprise me if he spent millions on research for a cure and with decades passing, there could be a high probability a cure was found. At first I thought it was just the usual scumbag story with the title also pointing that way but after seeing the other side it makes me see things differently and even if things look one way it might not be real. After seeing all those scumbag stories and seeing this one makes me want more true love stories.

You can not copyright, trademark or patent an idea. Notice stories like these don’t even have titles, they have taglines. If I put this in and ask ai to write me a story it’s probably gonna write this same thing. Not original but not stealing.

Yes there are stories which seem like they were created by Ai, by the speed they post, it seems they are all using the same software. but i doubt this one is plotted without human involvement. Thats my thoughts i cd be wrong.
