Very cool always wanted to try that . Great day looks like you got some good eating fish for a fry. Thanks for taking us out with you and showing us so early open water fishing.
Looks like a fun day. I am planning on coming up to La Cross with some friends and the wives over Easter weekend. Hoping to do some fishing on the river there for yellow perch and walleye.
Hey Lance, got a suggestion for you. Since you're out with a buddy most times, I think you should look into a Rode GO 2 microphone system. It's compatible with any camera that has a 3.5mm mic jack or GoPro if you acquire their adapter. The key to a good video is good audio.
What is on the bottom of the boat? Assuming that is to help it slide on the ice? How does that affect it in the water? As always really enjoy your videos, keep them coming! You've got a very relaxed, enjoyable to watch style, that's also very informative.
There is a sheet of 1/4” polyethylene plastic on the bottom. It’s mainly there because I use this boat as a scratcher boat in the winter. The plastic makes the boat slide very easily across ice. We just putted around so the plastic didn’t have any adverse effect on our trip.
Outstanding.
Thanks for sharing 👍

I love that kind of fishing. What I don't like is the Minnesota regs.
As always another great video Lance. That’s a perfect day catching fish with a buddy.
Thank you Eric!
That looks fun as heck
It’s a good time!
Thanks for another video...

I’ve been thinking about adding mics.
That looks super fun! I need to take my kayak out there immediately lol. Great video man!
oh it's so nice to see some open water fishing. lol
Great video!
"A little ice..." Lance that sir would be called "Iced In" 👀🤣
You are brave souls to be out there without life preservers on
Hey man, do you use an anchor at all out there? I have a kayak, but sometimes I struggle with the current!
I don’t use anchors when there are large ice chunks floating around. If an ice chunk grabs the rope it could potentially pull you under.
@@AnglerX do you use a trolling motor?
You need some more stuff in your boat
Lol! Got that right
Omg you didn’t show how you got the boat out!!!! I was so looking forward to seeing you make a plan! Well done nonetheless!!
Motor right up on to the ice then winch it onto the trailer. Nothing to it.
You sir have bigger stones than I could dream of!!! 💪 Love your videos
where did you guys launch from? west newton? or wisconson side?
Looks like #6
There downstream a wàys😊
what pool?
Took a big jerk to get that motor running
🤔

Is that normal?😆😁
No. You have to be a little crazy
U have way to much stuff in that boat
Lol
May have to unsubscribe Lance. Tired of watching you fish up there and I’m stuck here.
Please don’t leave 🙏
