Love this channel! Great video as always. I own two VW diesels but never used biodiesel in them as I am a northerner and it gets too cold up here 😂 but good to know for SHTF. And glycerine byproduct... what uses could that have... hmm 😊
Thanks for the kind words! I’ll try and incorporate some cold weather options on the upcoming videos! Good to hear your interest in my “biodiesel soap” series that will follow soon!
Wow I am going to watch this a couple times to make sure I picked up everything. There are a few steps but definitely neat. I have been wanting to make fuel for years but I have always been scared to. I can't wait for the next video in the series. I am certain that I am going to have questions. Thank you for posting this video and I look forward to seeing this running something.
It was very popular back in 2008-2010 with many fuel stations carrying B20 blends. Some small companies even offered commercial B100. It’s not as common now and can’t give you a solid answer as to why. It does make diesel engines harder to start in cold weather this is the biggest detractor to the fuel IMHO, I used it extensively for a few years. I still use it in my diesel lawnmower, diesel heater and a small diesel generator. I would use it in vehicles still but I don’t have any diesel trucks anymore.
Here’s the entire BIODIESEL playlist from begging to end! ruclips.net/p/PLaQQDPW8Lzd3kXkuo2VWo96iE7f0t8mBx&si=QYmSpDSzmmkZORHU

Planning on beginner series then possibly a more advanced biodiesel series if there’s enough interest in this subject!
Thanks for the video. I have a question, why isn’t bio diesel being sold publicly? And possible much cheaper than petroleum diesel?
