I do the half psychopath were I create 1 block layers alternating

I fill in everything below the top layer with cobblestone and then cover that with dirt so that if another creeper ever explodes I only have to redo the top dirt.

Im a logical thinker, I fill it so there is only a 1 block gap so no mobs spawn and I save blocks
