Ohhh, a Sophie Shawl by Petit Knit could use up that yarn….it would be a larger gauge and may require a swatch…but it would be a simple knit to keep the holidays stress free. Gorgeous yarn!
As a retired teacher, I was very comfortable planning my weeks. I have found that even after 11 years being retired, I still function very well using planning for the week. I even plan in writing my knitting and my reading times. I think they are important to my mental health. I try to really write down what I want to accomplish. If I don’t get to it, well, life goes on. In fact, my bathroom cleaning has been on my list for three days. No, not completed. Maybe tomorrow. In fact, definitely, tomorrow. I will top rate it for first thing in the AM. Also, if I don’t fold/ hang my laundry as I remove the pieces from the dryer…oh my…not good. So, I have made it my mission to always fold as soon as I remove it. Place it in the laundry basket, and then it can be put away, or sit in the basket as it sometimes does. lol.
So glad you decided to do Vlogmas again this year - it really helps get me in the holiday spirit. That swoon-worthy yarn would make a beautiful Self-Fringing Shawl by Amberly Frost (bonus it’s a free pattern). 😊
Hi Sandy! Always excited to see what coffee mug you pick for the day. As for suggestions - the Spring Shawl by Vanessa G would look great in the “Sandy” colourway. Best of all - it’s a free pattern! There are also cute little shrugs on Ravelry made with approx 400g bulky yarn.❤🎄🎄🎄🎄
Those socks are really nice. I love Amanda and Kate and Pia and Girl meets yarn. Just favs. in terms of. Vlogmas. How about Amy Palko’s new poncho pattern for the yarn? Not sure of gauge as I have so much on my needles/ plate to look at pattern. But I did favorite it. Thank you for today. Love your family and their Advents opening. Such fun.
I do!! I love it, but the coffee pot makes more sense since I have a couple cups from it and so does Glen. If I want a special coffee in the afternoon, I use the bambino.
They are traditionally from the UK but we have them everywhere here in Canada. You can find them in British shops or anywhere they sell British imports.

I agree! That’s exactly what came to my mind /It will show off the yarn so well!
I saw someone make a bulky Sophie shawl and they changed increase/decrease rate so it didn't get too wide

Ooooh, that looks perfect!!
Strawberry rhubarb parfait tea…..yum…..one of Davidstea’s best! Your yarn is beautiful….definitely a big, squishy shawl!

Strawberry Rhubarb tea interesting Love the calmness of your Vlogmas ❤️🎄🙏
It’s my favourite tea of theirs, I buy it every year. 😊
One of my favorite bulky patterns is the Bandana Cowl by Purl Soho. You could do a matching cowl, hat & mitts with that much yardage!
How about the Carmen Cowel by Eweknit Toronto or the Friend to Friend. Both would really highlight our beautiful yarn
One of the Weekend Shrugs! Like the Saturday Shrug you love so much. Would be so elegant in one color!
Max the knitter just released a shawl pattern with bulky yarn. It would not use all the yarn so maybe you can make two different items with the yarn!
OH, your resurected yarn might make a pretty cap style sleeve vest with a big collar???
I love how your advent socks are knitting up!
Saturday shrug or Alicia Plummer campside shawl
You could do a Friend to Friend shrug by Leslie Friend!
Free pattern on Ravelry - Seeded Rib Stich Cowl by Antonia Shankland

Sandy do you have it on your schedule a time for you to stop and enjoy the season? I hope so. ❤️🎄
Yes, it is busy but I am finding time to enjoy for myself too. 😊
Leslie Friend (friend to friend) has a bulky weight shrug pattern on Ravelry. The yarn you have is beautiful.
I would make a vest with your 4 skeins of Sandy.
What is that beautiful blue and white mug beginning around 4:00? I used to have loads of cobalt blue dishes and I adore that mug!
I got it at Anthropologie recently and it came in a set of 4
Check out more of Petite knit🎉
Hey Sandy! Wondering if you still use your Breville Bambino?
I do!! I love it, but the coffee pot makes more sense since I have a couple cups from it and so does Glen. If I want a special coffee in the afternoon, I use the bambino.
Wool Weaver by Kalurah Hudson would look nice in that yarn but I don’t think it would take all of it
Perhaps a shawl or vest
Could you let us Americans know about that candy you have in the tree? Thanks
They’re called Quality Street and come in a round tin container.
@@jennysmith80 are they chocolate, caramels, hard candy? Thanks
They are traditionally from the UK but we have them everywhere here in Canada. You can find them in British shops or anywhere they sell British imports.
@@carolmorrison5173 they are a selection of chocolates and caramels.
Hello. How is Eric doing? I haven't seen him on RUclips anymore.
❤❤
FRIEND TO FRIEND SHRUG for your bulky yarn😊
