Thanks so much for your encouragement it means a lot. We remember foot and mouth of 2002 when there was no caravanning for 6 to 8 months. This crisis seems a lot worse. We will be back on screen sooner than you think 😉 Trev n Sue
Thanks so much for joining us and your lovely comments. We were worried that the car would be too small but it is perfect for exploring the villages and countryside 🙂 Trev
Those look like two really nice RVs, Trev. Like these vans, both have good points. Really like the walk around bed in the Elddis. That is probably one of the most important points for us. Thanks for taking us on a tour. Hope you and Sue are staying safe over there.
@@Michelle-ub9dg There are very many brands to choose from. It’s so important to look at as many motorhomes as you can to find the one that fits your needs most. Budget, layout and specification can be the three most important deciding factors. Enjoy your search 😃🚐👍🏻 Trev
Two great Moho's Trev, of the two I would go for the Autotrail but take the Alde heating out of the Elddis! Autotrails with the over head lockers at the front always look very spacious, I would imagine that the overcab would impact on your MPG though. The Elddis bed took up far too much room and like you said needs shutting off. Another great comparison, Take care & keep safe, Martin
The over cab space has grown on me. It may not take a little more heating and reduce the aerodynamics but so minimal that comfort would drive my decision. The Lounges on the Autotrails do feel spacious. They don’t however seem to use the ultra low chassis so I wonder if they roll and pitch whilst driving. Our van is remarkably stable with a slightly lower centre of gravity. So many factors to consider when wandering round the used motorhome forecourt 😁 Thanks for stimulating many more thoughts Martin 😄 Trev
Two beauties, I liked the layout on the Elddis slightly better, plus the little things like the pull out coffee tray and table at the bottom of the bed, thanks Trev, stay safe.
Interesting Graeme, I couldn’t warm to the Elddis to start with but the more I think about it, I think it has different practicalities. Thanks so much for your comments 😀 Trev
A couple of nice vans there trev , funny you say about the sink cover , that always worries me breaking hard and getting a smack on the back of the head , kirsty usually does that when I’m parking on site 🤣😂 thanks for the tour 👍
Great video with all that is happening not sure what travelling you will be allowed to do in the UK , we aren’t allowed to travel anywhere at the moment in 🇨🇦 Canada. Soon we think even going from one province to another will be stopped how life has changed Take Care Norm and Tina 🌺
I liked the second one better. Too bad the first ones bathroom couldn’t be put in that second one🤷♀️ I don’t care for the wet baths or the salad bowl. I’ve never seen a side open oven door. Good tours and comparisons. Stay safe and well, you two 😊
Thanks so much for watching and your comments, we hope you stay safe too and we will try to keep the channel interesting even though our movements are limited for the near future 😊 Trev n Sue
Two more lovely RVs! Thanks for the tours, Trev! If I had to choose it would be difficult...but I think I'd probably go with the Autorail, primarily for the bathroom. I do think the UK RVs have it all over the North American ones. Everything just seems to be of better quality.
@@Michelle-ub9dg Definitely need to consider your pets. We put up a little barrier at night to keep ours in the cab area. It helps us to get better sleep. 😃 Trev
Nice tour. I've noticed it seems these are usually around the same price. Is that the typical price for that class or is that just mainly what you guys like to check out?
The price for this most popular type and age of vehicle varies between £40,000 to £70,000. We don’t have the variety of RVs in the UK but some A Class and Fifth Wheel can be as much as £120,000 or more. I may try to look at them later in the year when the RV shows are back. Thanks so much for watching 😊 Trev
Keeping on with the rear Light Cluster thing Trev Theres nothing Wrong with having the Rear Lights halfway up the Rear Panel Verticle or Horizontal ,all that Flat Space. Wouldnt need a Tow Lighting Board if Rear No Plate there too if Hauling a Tow Car or Trailer
Dee, I think the law in the UK is to have the tow vehicle number plate and marker lights on a trailer with reflective triangles too. However the number plate could be higher on the Motorhome I think. Also I believe there are regulations about the height of the main vehicle rear lights and braking lights. It’s all very complicated isn’t it ? 🤨 Trev
@@PoshcatsCamping yup tiz that Trev ..Ive seen Luton Bodied Vans with Everyting on the Panel above the Top of the Back Door. Its got to be a oh so simple Fix to move um up also better for Visibility too in bad Weather
Some Motorhomes have on board gas systems which significantly reduces the cost of the gas but most still have Calor exchangeable bottles which can get a bit expensive in winter. Thanks for watching 😁 Trev
@@PoshcatsCamping Apparently you can simply just swap your calor gas bottle for an LPG one and get LPG at at some calor gas suppliers without VAT as cheap 23p litre
Thank you so much for watching Bob. We have some amazing manufacturers in Europe. All the countries have different brands. Those built outside the UK often have the habitation door on the opposite side but it is still allowed in the UK. 😀 Trev

Love watching these walk arounds. That pull up plug bar in the kitchen was cool. I know I've said it before, but I love euro styling.

Its always fun to look through these motorhomes, thanks Trev :o)
