Ok this video made me so happy watching. Haven’t been able to find a trove yet. Really want that book but watching you open these made me so excited and happy to watch you and not watching someone who has boxes and boxes or booster cards when I’m STRUGGLING to get like 2 packs of boosters. Thank you for this video!!!
Congrats on the pulls! Was lucky to get 1 of every release. I think we got 1 legendary in our trove! Wife got Ursula, an amazing moment having her pull a legendary in her first tcg!

I really want a trove, if I can find one at a fair price (scalping is crazy right now). I'd be recycling the deck boxes and counters, but I REALLY want that booklet! And the eight packs, of course.
That Hades pack you got was almost worth the price of the box on its own! And then a Mickey!! What a great trove you bought.

My LGS only had 2. I was fifth in the queue and they were gone by the third person. Saw someone on discord pulled two enchanted from a trove.
The booklet has a nice quality to it so it's not a pack in just to pack something in. 53 pages and pictures of all the cards in chapter one for when you don't want to open the app. Once the price calms down it is a nice collectable worth the msrp.

I'm in the UK, but I went to a 6 pack sealed event today. First pack was double legendary - Ursula and Foil surfer Stitch, plus some rare - don't remember which - I think understandable when pulling 2 legendaries from a single pack lol. I'm lucky enough to live near one of the LGS that actually got product here and was able to buy 2 boxes since Friday. They still have a few boxes left atm which is crazy. I guess the game is a lot smaller here than the US. I've seen multiple people pull Enchanted cards too, which is insane.
Love your guys channel this is my first CCG game ive gotten into love the gameplay videos guys! Also got a trove did not do as well as you did lol but had a qestion since im a newbie do you guys use your legendary cards to play with or just keep them off to the side to not damage them.
We play with our legendaries, but Enchanteds would be a binder only thing. We are all itching to build decks so much that especially non foil legendaries are definitely played.
A few of us have set up binders to save a collection of 1 of each card for the first set, but that’s about it.

I got 3 of the starter decks. I opened my first pack from the amethyst/amber starter deck and I pull an alternate art Mickey Mouse Wayward Sorcerer! I started freaking out like crazy

LGS selling these for $250. Insane.
I see some closer to $150, but that's still insane. I fully support spending your money at LGS, but at these prices? Sorry... I'm just going to hold off in hopes they decline or get them for MSRP at Walmart or Target down the road.
@@BreakingJP I agree. I wouldn't pay that much either. I went to a LGS today for a starter deck event. The owner was their and he said he is keeping everything MSRP so people will like him and want to spend more at his store later in the future. I got a starter deck for $15, and a single pack for $5.39. The deck price also included entry to the starter deck challenge where I walked away with all 3 promo cards and the Ariel pin that I really wanted. So I'm very happy. Also I joined a local discord recently and the local community reported each LGS in the area. If they where MSRP or higher and how high they above MSRP they went. They made a list for people in the future to see who they should support more.
Yeah scalping is rampant these at many lgs it's a huge issue.
Ours are at 110 but I still don't think I'll buy it especially for just 8 packs

And they scalp like crazy on every card game and product.

I just found out about this TCG today (Sept 3). I thought I'd buy a couple starter packs because as a huge Disney fan, this seemed like the perfect "treat yo self" for my birthday coming up. I then laughed, I had no idea the hypetrain this thing had! Phew! Sold out EVERYWHERE and not due for a reprint until 2024. Looks like fun though so I'll be on the lookout next year.
FWIW i heard they held some back & will be restocking the shelves mid October.
Local game stores are restocking mid-October, but not only will volume be low, it is also up to the game store. My County has 8 card shops and 12 board game stores, but only one store is receiving any Lorcana products
Just seems like one of those times where you could be collecting what will be massively collectible cards in 25 years
Sadly all any of my stores had was a single deck and 1 pack, but i wish they made that Aurora & little tailor mickey boxes and sleeves like the elsa hook and mickey

All I can say is that a box of 8 packs and a few cheap pack-ins should not be more than $50 period.
8*6= 48. Depending on what else is in, I would go $60..... 2 deck boxes and damage counters??? Not even 1 guaranteed card? Hm, yah, agreed. $50.
On the note of getting pulls from anywhere - I got an Enchanted Simba from one of the booster packs in the starter decks.

Got a booster for $228 and a trove for $94. Cant wait til they get here!
Between me and my GF we have opened 4 boxes and they seem to be very specific. You only get 1-2 legendary cards in the boosters in this box and the foil chances of rarer cards are super low. You're much more likely to get foil commons and uncommons in these boxes. No Enchanted. My gf then went and bought some boosters, pulled an Enchanted and some really nice Legends too, so I personally recommend not spending too much money on these boxes and going for boosters.
Spent a bit more than I should on the trove, but that storage box just seemed like the perfect thing for remembering how I got in during the LGS release weekend. Best pulls were Belle Strange but Special and a foil Beast Wolfsbane.

Well if that’s all you’re chasing, I understand selling it. The chance at an Enchanted is pretty low regardless (our luck as a crew has been pretty bad), but we just want to build our collection and decks! 😄
Do you think it's worth it if you just want the box itself, the guide and a chance at getting some good cards?
For sure! If you consider the experience of pack opening itself to have value, then the packs inside plus the additional storage is worth it, in my humble opinion.

Is a trove not sealed at all? Not even a sticker? Just take the cover off like that?
It’s just a pull tab on the bottom like the booster boxes, but the trove is technically a box within a box.

That’s the LGS (pre-big box store) market online for you… msrp is pretty much 50, but some stores will sell at crazy amounts because someone out there is desperate enough to pay it 😞
Things should cool down after Sept. 1st when big box (Walmarts and targets) get product.

I do not think Troves are worth it. Such a let down after getting Elite Trainer boxes from Pokemon, which are cheaper and come with much better quality content. You're essentially just paying for 8 packs and especially with mark ups, if you're going to overpay anyway, you might as well get a booster box.

Ya, most of the guys on the channel are right there with you. Across myself, Alex, and Tyler, we’ve opened about 10 boxes and 4 troves. No Enchanteds. Our luck with pulling those has been pretty bad, but we’ve had great pulls in other ways so it hasn’t bothered me.

My LGS selling them for 80. With that being Said , singles are going for 10$ a pack.
The legendarys look to basic to me I was expecting more like full art or atleast foil
12 different cards in the set have variant arts that are called enchanted rare. They gave those specific cards full art treatment as well as being foil. Every card in the set has an opportunity to be foil as well. We don't know what Ravensburger will do in the future as far as card treatments, but, for a first run, the set looks amazing. - Tyler

Honestly this trove literally just 8 packs which can go anywhere. So whether the cost justifies 8 packs will be left for one to judge.
Oh my after seeing your video basically I don’t want this trove…apart from the 8 packs the rest are garbage. How can the rest be so crap even if you compare to Pokémon Etb they have nice boxes. This one just made out of thin cardboard.
Definitely not, nearly every card being released is incredibly bad. The guy spent four years of his life/job + a ton of Disney money developing a game with magic mechanics + cards that won't see play within a year; mashallah.
Luckily my LGS was selling it for 80
i love how there is a whole group of nerds in the background that laugh at corny jokes lol. and when he gets a good pull he shakes his hands like hes special needs kid who just got some ice cream
frankly I find the value add here utterly pathetic. foldout cardboard """""deck boxes""""' aren't protecting a thing. The counters are clunky, annoying and come in every starter anyway. would it have killed them to include, oh I dunno, some dice? A little rotating lore counter? A little poster even? Even at MSRP this product is an insult, and you might as well just wait for the scalpers to have their fun and spend the money on singles once they reach a manageable price
Considering you get 8 packs (msrp of 5.99) in this which totals to 47.92, 2 extra dollars gets you the trove box to store cards in, the booklet to showcase the set, the damage counters, and two little deck boxes. I agree that the deck boxes are nothing to write home about, but the rest is worth the 2 bucks. If you have easy access to as many packs as you want, I can see passing this up, but it’s not that much higher than msrp.
I agree that dice and some status counters like frozen and reckless would be nice though.

Picked it up today and played it. Trash game. It's all foam and froth. Once the casual collectors tire of spending huge bucks to pull a legendary, there is not going to be any organized play for this game. Pokemon TCG was 3x as fun.

No context to why its a trash game back up your comment. This reminds me of a mtg and warcraft tcg mash up. It's a great game, there is scope to create a lot of deck types and the player base is awesome over here across the pond.
Seeing this comment 10 months later is hilarious the first lorcana tournament sold out in like a minute and they added almost 1500 more tickets and that sold out as well in both america and Europe so I'd say it's more than foam and froth.
If it weren't so obvious, it would almost be funny. The general public opens up these trove boxes and there's not much value. This channel either has the luck of the century or knows someone! 2 Legendary cards? Yeah
Trust me, if I knew someone, I would have pulled an enchanted by now…lol My luck with that has been beyond atrocious. 😂
