- The goal was late in the extra time of the first half and one would think that’s all for the first 45 minutes but then everything changed when Trossard barged Bernando Silva in the back on 45+8 minutes and got a second yellow card sending him off. Surprisingly, it wasn’t even the barge that got him a second yellow. It was him kicking the ball away after that got him the second yellow. Making it the second red card Arsenal have gotten in just 5 games this PL season for the same offense!
Michael Oliver in particular has had many inconsistent decisions in Arsenal games as he’s sent more Arsenal players than others in his refereeing career.

If Trossard had not been sent off, Arsenal could have won. Trossard could have been replaced by an Arsenal defender to bolster their defence. The substitute could have kept Stones from scoring freely. A referee must be able to stay calm and control his emotions and feelings when making decisions on the field. But this was not seen by Michael Oliver
