    "Putim" or "Pushtim" ? Whats difference?

    • @Practicetime7
      @Practicetime7  Месяц назад +2

      The Sanskrit term པུཥྚིཾ (Puṣṭim) can be interpreted as "nourishment and growth" or "bringing prosperity and fulfillment." Its Romanized spelling is Puṣṭim. Variations like "Putim," "Pushtim," or even "bu jin" and "bu ching" reflect differences in translation. The version used in the video follows the Dalai Lama's recitation, where the "s" is not pronounced.
      As long as it is an authentic mantra, it is empowered by the blessings of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. No matter which version you learn, they are all effective. For example, the Six-Syllable Mantra ॐमणिपद्मेहूं (om mani padme hum) is commonly pronounced as "ōng ma ni ba me hong" in Chinese-speaking regions following the Tibetan pronunciation, and both are equally powerful.
      You may try and see which pronunciation resonates most with you, as it is the one you have the closest affinity with.
      Thank you for your question. May you be at ease in body and mind, and may you have peace and auspiciousness.
      Namo Amitabha Buddha.🙏
