UPDATE!!!! You can actually pop off the doors and apply the door decals up all the way to the edge of the hinge. When you put the door back on the decal is already under the hinge so it doesn't catch and peel. Shout out to Bert the Stormtrooper for the info. Glad they provided two sets of door decals.

Being a massive fan of motorsports makes me absolutely want this decal set as soon as I get my Jazz. I know Earthrise and Studio Series are wholly different lines, but Jazz's brother in Group 5 race cars Wheeljack being decked out in sponsor decals makes Jazz look quite dull in comparison. These decals breathe in so much life to the not-Porsche 935 alt mode.

I generally like a screen accurate g1 appearance. But, I think if I can get, if not modify with such aftermarket items, a good balance between g1 cartoon/comic and g1 toy appearances, then I would go for that for a happy medium between them

This is one awesome looking set and an excellent review! I'm VERY MUCH looking forward to finally getting my Jazz AND this decal set! Always have to spruce Jazz up for SOME reason... I mean seriously, HASBRO... HOW FREAKING HARD is it to just replicate/adapt the G1 figure look with the paint apps...? I mean, the car mode is WHITE WHITEWHITE, which makes ANY LACK of paint apps glaringly noticeable AND ridiculously obvious... For what WE pay for these figures, HASBRO CAN definitely afford to do a little more to them, and STILL pocket a pretty penny. Excellent work and kudos to Toyhax, and an excellent review, brother! HOOO-AH!!🇺🇸

I've applied a bunch of toyhax sticker sets. You dont need to do any prep. I'd just make sure the figure is dry and dust free, then apply the stickers straight on. A pair of tweezers comes in handy when trying to place on the stickers
This is a really awesome decal set. I have to admit the 14 on the figure really annoys me, and this is like a first for me to have something like that annoy me. If I was Hasbro and or the designers of the this Jazz, if they couldn't use the 4 for whatever reason I would have opted for the number 86 to represent the year of the movie. With all that said, even though I think this decal set is cool, I hope that Toyhax will make a G2 version set for this figure, that would be tight. And that does bring to mind that I also wish that Toyhax would add some vintage G2 label sheets for those of us that have some G2 figures that might need new or refreshed labels. Again though love this set, and as always very awesome video.

I just saw earlier today that there is a 3rd party that makes speakers like that for this figure. Just do a search for it. It looked like they were bloosh compatible, too for sound effect.

Dang, this is the best decal enhancement IMO in all the SS86 figures. Toyhax straight up knocked it out of the park with jazz.

Problem is its a studio series 86 figure which means that they have to make it as g1 animation accurate as possible

Do you do anything to prepare or clean the plastic surfaces before applying the stickers?
I've applied a bunch of toyhax sticker sets. You dont need to do any prep. I'd just make sure the figure is dry and dust free, then apply the stickers straight on. A pair of tweezers comes in handy when trying to place on the stickers
I usually wipe them down with a lint free cloth to remove any dust then get to stick'n.

I get why people would do this but I prefer show accuracy than toy accuracy.
