Haven’t visited this channel for a quite while. Just wanted to say that I found beautiful Helena 5 years ago when I was completely alone and didn’t have a lot of luck in a dating world. I used ask questions from Helena after unsuccessful online dates and she would take her time and make a video on the questions that I asked. Fast forward, I followed Helena’s principles and met my husband quickly after. Now I’m happily married with the best man in the world and just had our second son 13 days ago. I was already 30 when I found Helena and thought I had no chance in finding someone who would truly want me. Thank you Helena, you are an angel!

I’ve been seeing this guy that’s super nice friendly supportive and accepting, so I feel for the most part that I can open up to him about things safely. Which is great, except he doesn’t really open up much to me. I ask him direct questions about his life, just general topics, but he usually avoids them. I respect it and don’t push him, yet I am feeling uncomfortable like I’m being vulnerable and he’s not, like I over share and he under shares. It’s feeling weird to me. Like a red flag. He’s eager to know about my life and to ‘help me’ with things, but doesn’t open up much about his life. How do I change this? Is this a red flag ?
Men are raised, in general not to be as open or forthcoming with their feelings. It's not necessarily a red flag. It's best to put sex & romance aside and be friends first. If you two are getting physical and your unmarried, he will feel unsafe. You both will feel insecurity .
I've been watching Helena's channel for years, and also many of the wonderful people she collaborates with. This video stood out in a different way. I applied what I learned here and just had the most intimate conversation with a man I care for about his feelings, and why he suddenly went cold and pulled away. I'm proud that I was able to grow past my own wounding and be compassionate enough to hold space for his, and when I did that in a loving, feminine, inviting way, he met me emotionally. It was beautiful. At this time I feel whole and complete just in the fact that we shared this amazing intimate connection where he felt safe and held enough to be completely honest with me - no matter what the future does or doesn't hold for us. Thank you both for the help you've given me over the years! I'm making progress and learning to communicate in a way that honors myself and my partner. Sending love 💕

For me this is more a sign of spiritual immaturity. We can all connect deeply with other people, love them deeply... without having to give them the label boyfriend/girlfriend. Everyone we meet is on some level a soulmate (friends, family, pets, colleagues, a creative partner, etc.) If people jeapordise their integrity and trust with a partner... to follow some feelings with someone else "because it could be their soulmate" that's someone who has not learned yet to love all living beings without having to turn them into more.
