Thing is the in-game characters outfits are also modern. We keep on forgetting that the Wuwaverse by itself is pretty modern, from the weapons, to the gadgets, to the ways the cities are constructed, etc. These skins will fit right in.

So much better than what Hoyo did. They actually change all of the character and put them into alternate settings and that's just shows the love the devs have for the game.
I honestly would like to see more gacha games adopt a similar method to what Reverse:1999 does. Once you level up a character to a certain point, you unlock a new skin for that character. Sure they could have additional "premium" skins for characters too that you can either buy or earn through participating in events, but it'd be nice to have a new skin as an extra incentive to invest time in to leveling up each character
I would happily buy outfits if they were sold as discrete items, but I will not pull for them in the random gacha style. @@lactoseman $20 at most you get new color in their attack effects that matches in their outfit. $40 big changes,new sfx, and new animation (idle,victory etc). $50-60+ Are the special coating which is gacha that has the biggest changes also have their own theme background.

Im just gonna say it before drama starts im im a day one genshin and wuwa player and just a average person who has enough irl experience to see when someones trying to fish for drama and to be able to see through this immature drama. Frankly im just annoyed this is still continueing i cant simple watch a guide with out bs. The only people who are creating drama are kids or immature people. People that have emotionally or finacially invested in a game or bots with no sense of context to their accounts but the drama they post on cc videos. Example posts from fornite kingsimba and camila and some random numbers. have enough experence to ruin both sides of this childish arguement genshin 1.0 and wuwas 1.0 early story was indeed bad it didnt lead into anything and had you draging your self around the place. tasks that had no reasoning to be done such. We all heard the complaints about wuwa and since its new theres no need to rehash that. but im just gonna remind people of 1.0 genshin cause its been 4 years and new and old player may not know.or remember. Genshins Its first event required you to pay or waste stamina to get rewards. And the bugs were terrible imagine having good internet and falling through the map upon logging in server going in or out.. Or being afraid to invite randoms in your world because people were getting there accounts stolen due to lack of 2fa. Then there was the flore incident where the forgot to fix the dialogue of one of the adult character they wanted to marry the kid flower seller that because flore was an adult in the beta but they wanted to have it more relatable to kids that play genshin . They fixed it and changed it to treat as a little sister. A more recent game breaking bug the kaveh i delete you game bug. Im not saying this to bad mouthing genshin or hoyo im just relating that the newer players have no experence of 1.0 genshin and a causing drama for other games with no prior knowledge on how hoyo verse games were and acting like it was golden and peachy. Creating a teapot calling the kettle black situation and annoying everyone just to seem relavent. So yes both games started bad. Im just happy i have something to play when theres a down time in either game.

TBH, the original skins look way better & have way better VFX on them than these bland looking skins. Also, I'd rather have more drops from dungeons than skins. Have you seen the trash drops even on higher levels? From 50 to 60 to 70 UL, there's like very slight change in drop numbers. That's the change I want to see be implemented the fastest.

Their skins are called “coatings” and they’re usually exclusive to the frames the coatings are made for.
