Great video, really well handled. 👍 I wonder how the police handle the hundreds of calls that they must get about people taking photos of the Palace of Westminster? Certainly a 'sensitive' building. 🤔
Everyone who thinks these two officers were being 'polite' or 'fair' your wrong, the reason they seemed like they were being fair and polite is because of a 2 reasons, 1 the fact FP was recording, and 2 the fact he knew his shit, if it was anyone else who lacked these two things they would have infringed on his rights and treated him like a criminal/terrorist.
Rather pathetic, just imagine if police challenged everyone who took photographs outside Buckingham Palace , Downing Street and the Houses of Parliament. Photographer was polite, correct and stood his ground.
Correction! It is a Gun, NOT A RIFLE! More accurately, it is a Sub Machine Gun (SMG MP5), which by definition is a gun! It does not carry a Rifle cartridge!
@@MuhmmedNadeem-cy2tj police in the UK use G36 or G3 HK variant semi automatic "rifles" . (single round) They do not use SMGs . Spraying automatic fire around in a city street is never a good idea.
I just found Your channel and it seems to me that this is one of the best in this subject. You are great at dealing with words, in your films you often see the embarrassment of law enforcement officers when they realize that you are right. Cool channel.
that younger cop with the sub mg, annoyed the hell out of me. He is not very smart and he has the audacity to decide who is and who is not intelligent. But mostly he was tedious and patronising.
Having watched a great many videos where the police are triggered by photography I’ve got to say these two did their job well. Didn’t misrepresent the law when it was clear you knew it, didn’t give you a hard time for your refusal to comply with requests which didn’t carry the weight of a legal obligation -which many coppers will shamefully do. They were also extremely polite friendly and non-confrontational - no mean feat when carrying loaded automatic weapons...which tend to make one intimidating unless you make a conscious effort not to be. They also ultimately left you to it. When watching such videos I often am outraged by the sort of conduct displayed - not here. IMHO these officers are an absolute credit to the service. Well done Charring Cross police station.
Mmmm just watched and I think you missed the point the auditor before him was harassed and detained by plod He did this knowing that would never happen to him But they still tried to watch over him as though he had done something wrong and that isn’t their job
I'm always concerned when I see them wearing their gang badge, but on the whole these officers were very professional and courteous. What I have noticed is cops that carry guns seem much more in control of themselves than some of the thugs doing general duties and guarding insignifcant little "back gates" out in the suburbs!
"As a keen taxpayer" The proof that there's no such thing as a "keen taxpayer" is that anyone can voluntarily pay more tax, and yet not a single person ever has.
If someone is taking photographs for malicious reasons and then there was a bombing or something a week later im sure the police would be heavily criticised for not doing anything about it.
The officers did nothing wrong they were just enquiring. If someone was planning an attack on this building, this would be where to start, scoping the building out and getting a sense of how tight security is. So yeah, well done to the officers for doing there job.
Meanwhile these same wooden-tops armed to the teeth and paid a HUGE inner London supplementary additional salary to be always available, stood and sat quivering and hidden for over an hour as normal people took out their phones and attempted to distract and stop the two anti-British racist Adebalago and Adebalago killers, covered in our Soldier Lee Rigby's blood dripping from their hands and clothes and multiple huge knives, as they proceeded to saw off his head on live TV. They didn't kill them, they happily waited at the behest of an ambivalacious dwarf man-woman, then wrestled them safely to the ground. But leap out with automatic weapons loaded and ready to fire when a British subject takes a photo of our capital city?
Police officers...we 'support' you, we want you to catch criminals, we need you to protects us...but please, do not leave yourselves open to ridicule by actions like this.
My only interaction with armed police was after the Manchester Arena bombing, near the football museum when all the roads were closed off around there and I needed to get around the cordon to catch a bus service. This was nearly a week after the attack I think. I simply walked up to a pair and asked if they knew how pedestrians were supposed to get around to the bus services. Now consider that the attack caused multiple bus stops, tram stops and the train station to be temporarily shut down, the police must have known that many pedestrians would be trying to work out the emergency public transport arrangements. They must have known that the quicker people got with the programme the quicker they'd be out of the area. Yet the response I got from this pair was one of barely concealed disgust. They berated me for asking them, tried to make it seem like I was a fool for thinking they might be able to help. Is it me? I thought that keeping the area from getting swamped with confused pedestrians would have been something they'd planned for.
"OK, well, we'll just sit here and watch you" Because there isn't any other crime in the capital, it's not like it's known for people to get stabbed and shot in the streets there is it.
Do they question people taking photographs of Buckingham Palace? Just as important a building as this one and yet the police would laugh at a caller complaining of photography there.
They keep everyone safe? No! you are looking out for your masters in the Mi6 building. If you keep everyone safe then you would respect a citizen's right to take photos?
No it can’t as you say the same about someone walking past and looking or a local paper getting a pic. I wonder how the police handle the hundreds of calls that they must get about people taking photos of the Palace of Westminster? Certainly a 'sensitive' building. 🤔
To be fair the policemen were really decent just doing what they have to do
The Queen doesn't mind people taking photos of her 'house', but the copper must think it doesn't have any significance, going by his comment
Apparently they have so little to do, that this can be such a serious problem... a camera in the public domain.
If its a hobby, it's a hobby, if it's a career, it's a cereer, that's what we are trying to establish.
Why?
The truly scary thing about this is that they armed those fucking turnips.
Rather pathetic, just imagine if police challenged everyone who took photographs outside Buckingham Palace , Downing Street and the Houses of Parliament. Photographer was polite, correct and stood his ground.
To be fair they were ok , it would be good if they could see your portfolio of police reactions...
4:51 That isn’t a “gun” strapped around you, it’s a “rifle” the artillery use “guns”
Correction!
It is a Gun, NOT A RIFLE!
More accurately, it is a Sub Machine Gun (SMG MP5), which by definition is a gun!
It does not carry a Rifle cartridge!
lol
@@MuhmmedNadeem-cy2tj police in the UK use G36 or G3 HK variant semi automatic "rifles" . (single round) They do not use SMGs . Spraying automatic fire around in a city street is never a good idea.
Just watched all your vids, you have really improved - It was good before, but now you are epic! Those calm one-liners, SMACK! BANG! POW!
Cop - have you been taking pictures long? FP - since I was 15 😂😂😂
With all the murders happening in London you would of thought they'd have more important things to be getting on with.
This is a specialist ARV unit, not one that investigates murders.
Mmmm just watched and I think you missed the point the auditor before him was harassed and detained by plod
He did this knowing that would never happen to him
But they still tried to watch over him as though he had done something wrong and that isn’t their job
Top audit from a top auditor.
can i do an overview of this video ? brilliant stuff and well handled mate
Right on My friend!! The Blue Line NAZI Party in the U.K. has to be held accountable for their stupidity. Happy Fuck The Cops Day in the U.K.. LOL
Help yourself fluke
@@focuspocus3690 thanks buddy
I'm always concerned when I see them wearing their gang badge, but on the whole these officers were very professional and courteous. What I have noticed is cops that carry guns seem much more in control of themselves than some of the thugs doing general duties and guarding insignifcant little "back gates" out in the suburbs!
"As a keen taxpayer"
The proof that there's no such thing as a "keen taxpayer" is that anyone can voluntarily pay more tax, and yet not a single person ever has.
British Police. Busy harassing photographers while violent criminals committing knife crime and acid attacks run rampant on the streets...
Doing WONDERS for British Tourism I'd say!
If someone is taking photographs for malicious reasons and then there was a bombing or something a week later im sure the police would be heavily criticised for not doing anything about it.
"You dont seem like an idiot" priceless!!!
This cop could barely string together a sentence
4:48 "you don't seem like an idiot', so here, allow me to demonstrate how to be an idiot
I like the black Union Jack on his armour, another Stormzy fan🤔
That is literally one of the most suspicious things you could do.
Police officers...we 'support' you, we want you to catch criminals, we need you to protects us...but please, do not leave yourselves open to ridicule by actions like this.
Mr C police don't catch criminals, forensics & informers do. They don't protect us either, more likely to lock themselves in the car.
Wonder if they ask the bbc the same questions.
"OK, well, we'll just sit here and watch you" Because there isn't any other crime in the capital, it's not like it's known for people to get stabbed and shot in the streets there is it.
Totally not biased at all
I'd like to see better communication skills from officers holding guns.
You would WANT to! Seeing the average Bobby is NOT side armed!
Translation.....British police don't carry firearms
You should have asked them, do they approach ITN news teams when they're taking photos and videos of 'key sites' in London!
Cop just talked over the 'suspicious' bit at the end when he was told about the Code of Practice
They said they were called in..... Have you thought of FOIA for the Call log?
Thats what I say you can ask for the incident number, all calls are log with this number. I would guess it never happend
“Since I was 15...”😂
You don’t seem like an idiot. You seem like a very intelligent man to be honest with you. BRITISH COPS FOR YA!
Do they question people taking photographs of Buckingham Palace? Just as important a building as this one and yet the police would laugh at a caller complaining of photography there.
It's a mi6 building n he just taking photos with everything what's going on I would be suspicious to
They keep everyone safe? No! you are looking out for your masters in the Mi6 building. If you keep everyone safe then you would respect a citizen's right to take photos?
GunnyUKsarge And in turn M$6 work for the Uber Elites.
Ah yeah, you handled them properly with the benefit of your experience. Best wishes to userone!
Section 43 can still be used. The fact is that your photographs could then go to a terrorist planning an attack.
No it can’t as you say the same about someone walking past and looking or a local paper getting a pic. Why not look at the police own code of practice if you’re unsure ... they labour the point regarding photography being lawful sec43 sec47 sec58a etc or try met website or even acpo guidance....no shortage of docs off police and no excuse for not knowing.
@@focuspocus3690 I got this from their website. Glad that you don't know this as I thought you were just being ignorant to get a reaction from the police. If you just didn't know, well, you do now.
Yes it's because they're suggesting potentiality only, and not credible or current intelligence regarding intent which they need to raise the threshold.
