    The fact that Penny was charged at all is disgusting. He's a hero. Neely was fighting back the entire time Penny calmly put him into a chock hold to subdue him and protect his fellow citizens on the subway. NYC and Alvin Bragg have No Shame.

    Neely being portrayed as a lovable mentally ill young Black man who was basically harmless, and posed no threat.
    He had a long arrest record including several prior assaults.
    That day he shouted and repeated several times:
    'I'm going to kill you,' 'I'm prepared to go to jail for life,' and 'I'm willing to die.'"
    He had to be stopped, because the Progressive Prosecutor who is charging Penny (simply because he is White) refused to put Neely in jail where he belonged.

    NO that's NOT the right question, I'm a retired Vet and I was still in when they developed Army Combatives for Soldiers, and NO way was a choke hold taught to be held for 6 minutes. Come On people, it only takes 3, (THREE), minutes for the brain to be damaged from lack of oxygen, but a choke like that puts someone unconscious in about 30-45 seconds. Once the man was out and unmoving, there was NO more threat. What Mr. Penny did was to exceed the level of force necessary to stop the threat. so the BIG question is, WHY did he continue to hold the chokehold for the rest of those minutes?

    I find the counter-arguments against penny really disgusting, that if you find yourself threatened or harassed on the subway you should either ignore the person, submit or beg for mercy. Which is utterly spineless. Social media has really ruined a generation that people actually have this utterly naive view of the real world. When you're far from help, you have to help yourself, and that's it. If you're extremely lucky, there's going to be somebody like daniel penny close by to save you.

    Guilty or not guilty, this makes me DEFINITELY not likely to intervene in a situation like this. I'll just exit the situation.     Homeless, drugs, Sickle Cell Anemia, history of violence against strangers & run-ins w/police, is a disaster waiting to happen. The family pops up to be on news but where were these family members when he needed care? The video seems to reveal that Penny held his elbow at chin level, not on his neck. The problem under Democrat courts seems to be one of prosecutors, lawyers making names for themselves, seeking money, fame, power?

      Neely wanted to be on the streets like so many with mental illnesses, His family could have helped him by going to the police or a doctor and saying he is a danger to people on the subways and he has been arrested so many times a doctor could have him picked up and put in a faculty for evaluation, I had to do this with a love one I told the doctor and she had him picked up by police and they took him to a hospital and he is still there least he is not out hurting someone.

The victim was not assaulting anyone at the time of the chokehold... If that was the case then the chokehold would have been warranted but not for an indeterminate amount of time...     His Uncle is upset, but the family knew the guy was homeless, Schizophrenic, and on drugs. Totally ridiculous!!!! Also, Daniel used unnecessary force which is why he is in trouble.     If Penny is found guilty, then I would not blame any law abiding citizen of New York to move far away. Even now, the fact that this was even brought to trial demonstrates that law abiding citizens are in danger. They are second class citizens. I would move to the Midwest, find a quiet town with inexpensive housing, get a construction job or something, and live a quiet life far away from any Democrat run city.

    The problem here is the District Attorneys that allow a criminal like Neely to be out on the street after 42 prior arrests. You wear the blood on your hands and are to blame. It's apparent that Penny's intent was to subdue the violent criminal that stated what his intent was.
    Go to Google and look up Jordan Neely's uncle from this video, Christopher Neely. He's also a repeat offender and has his run-in with the law.
